We have been feeding our dogs Pedigree for at least 4 years now. We never had a problem with it and our dogs. Recently, I would say in the past 2 months, my husky and malamute have had very loose stools. We took them to the vet and the vet said they weren't sick and that it must be the food. She said to stay away from anything with corn in it.

We went looking for a better food, but everything without corn in it was sooo expensive. Thirty-five to Forty-five dollars for a 20 pound bag of Royal Canin was a bit pricey for us. This was locally. So we kept them on Pedigree and there stools would go back and forth.

We decided to take the hour trip to the closest Petco. After spending an hour there, we decided on Nutro Natural Choice. Again, all the other foods that didn't have corn in it were very expensive and beyond our budget. This was $36 for a 40 pound bag and we could handle that.

So I am curious if we made a good choice?

We have 4 dogs to feed, 2 of them being large.

She had this same lump last year which cost us $4000.00 to first drain it,( then it came back 3 wks later and then the specialist kept her for 5 days and suction the "fatty discharge" from her. It is not cancer or turmorous. But it's back again, and seem to be spreading, we are taking her back to the vet again, but he seems to be stumped. When she is lump free, she is lick a puppy all over again. She's a sheppard cross, almost 11 years old but very fit, not over weight and sure as heck not ready to go down! if you know what I mean. Please help, we're getting a little frustrated with the so called specialist, I don't know why he can't ask anybody else!!

I live in a house with a 9-year old brother and my mom. I am becoming 14 years old in the next month. I have been to a few animal shelters, but all the dogs I wanted were not adoptable because they were too not nice or big for my brother. Is that true? My brother is abou5 5 foot 5. I don't understand. I want to get a husky, a beagle, or a a shepherd mix. A retriever would be fine. What type of breed do you think I will need?

I was wondering if it was easy to potty train them to go outside. Also, do you know any good training tips on how to effectively potty train them? And are they good with children? Because I have 5 brothers and sisters.

We have a yellow lab he will be a year at the end of this month. Now before I start I am not complaining about if I am just wondering ... Anyway ... he follows he EVERYWHERE I go. He can be sound asleep and if I leave the room he follows me. At night he sleeps on the floor on the bedroom on my side of the bed. If I go to the bathroom he waits outside the door. He doesn't not do this to anyone else in the house ... (hubby or 2 kids) Did he like pick "me" as his favorite person or something?

Last night I took a shower and my hubby told me he sat out side the bathroom door whining.

My dog is an 11 month old shih tzu {girl} She will hold on to ooour pugs' tails and slide across the room.

Ever since we got her she has did this

she growls during play and when i am holding her she bites and growls at the pugs if the try to come up with us.

She was involved in a slight fight with one of our pugs about four monthes ago they were both on their hind legs(eachothers paws were oon eachothers sholders) and she had started it.

none of our other dogs show any form of agression.

We WILL NOT take her to obedience classes we live in the country and she is a house dog.

the vet said she is healthy

She is crate trained and potty trained

Should we seperate them? What else should we do? Can you reccomend a website? Is their training we can do?
