She had this same lump last year which cost us $4000.00 to first drain it,( then it came back 3 wks later and then the specialist kept her for 5 days and suction the "fatty discharge" from her. It is not cancer or turmorous. But it's back again, and seem to be spreading, we are taking her back to the vet again, but he seems to be stumped. When she is lump free, she is lick a puppy all over again. She's a sheppard cross, almost 11 years old but very fit, not over weight and sure as heck not ready to go down! if you know what I mean. Please help, we're getting a little frustrated with the so called specialist, I don't know why he can't ask anybody else!!
