I have two boston terriors and we recently got a new tea cup chichuaua. The youngest boton terrior craves all the attention but now that we have the chichuaua the boston terrior has been depressed. We still give all three dogs the same amount of attention. What can we do to make the dogs happy?

I cannnot believe how many stupid, ignorant, uneducated people there are who post questions on this board. It amazes me that these people are allowed to breed children none the less have a dog. Some of the questions I've read are so irresponsible I want to scream. No wonder why animal abuse is so wide spread and shelters are packed to the brim. Shame on all of you.

My brother has allergies and asthma, and he is not highly, but a little bit allergic to dogs. I also have a five year old sister too, so it has to be good with children. Can you find me a dog that fits that criteria, and is cute? If you can, I will choose you as my best answer!

I just rescued a Boston Terrier who is about 12 -13 weeks old. He has demodectic mange, I was aware of this when I rescued him, he doesn't have it as bad as I have seen some other dogs have it but I don't want it to escalate either. I am trying to use more natural products on him, without the vet treatments. I feel they are very harsh, is there any home remedies that work that are less severe I guess? I have seen many on the internet but I was wondering if anyone has experience with these methods? I have heard of the motor oil and I am not doing that, it can damage their skin permanently from what I have heard and that is harsh..any help please, I thank you in advance..

When I give my dog a bath (he's a chihuahua and he's 3) he stands in the water scared but he doesn't try to jump out. When I'm done washing him he jumps out and then I drie him with a towle. When I open the bathroom he goes crazy. He runs around my house and jumps on the furniture and rubs on the back. When i go to pick him up he runs away, but as if we were playing. Does your dog do anything like this to?

I tried to give it the puppy kibble for pedigree but it seems she doesnt like it and when the older dog was eating her food the puppy started to eat the adult pedigree food from her bowl and she didnt want to stop. Is she gonna get sick? Also any suggestions as to what to feed the puppy (in terms of brand). I thought pedigree was the best food out. Is ALPO any good. Thanks alot guys and gals. Later.

P.S. We tried pedigree canned puppy food and the puppy wouldnt eat it any more for about a week or so. Why? It seems she is hell bent on eating adult pedigree kibble

I just began an allergy treatment for my Akita, I was wondering if I could have him cut short for the approaching summer if this might help the symptoms.

He was on the vets table and a cat walked in and looked up at my pooch, shook its head and walked out. Moments later in walked a dog, looked up and also shook its head, then walked out. Worried, I asked the vet : "what was all that about?", to which he replied: "Well, did'nt you request a cat scan and a lab report"?!

The first time she was sleeping on my bed and I startled her she bit my face, I know I have to not allow her on my bed, I know beagles are pack animals and look to be the leader. Anyways she in the middle of the night came up to sleep and I know I need to be more discilplined. I told her to get down but I was feeling sick with a flu and went to sleep and she was sleeping between my husband and I. I thought since she bit me when she was only with me for a month, that by now she wouldnt do that. So when I turned and she was there, I was patting her and without warning she bit my face again. It wasnt quite light out yet. Anyways thank God she missed my eyes. But I have alot of scratches. I want to hear from someone who knows beagles and can recommend what to do. I know now no sleeping on my bed, I had a long extendable leash, now I bought a short leash to let her know I am the leader of the pack. I will do what I have to do but I need advice. I love her very much, Help!!!!

I have been taking my dog to obedience training classes for several weeks at a knowledgable reconized trainer. She and her staff train obedience, agility, competion, show and many others, so I know she knows her job. My dog has a habit of bum rushing the other dogs barking playfully and tail wagging. The problem is she is 110lb AmStaff/Bull Mastiff mix which makes it hard to control and others nervious. The trainer told me she has not had enough experience with other dogs to understand how to play and be social playing with other dogs. She suggested trying a muzzle (loose cage type, not the tight restricting type) on her and have her try a dog play group. That way she can play and learn to play without the chance pf accidently hurting anyone. My question is.....has anyone used this method, had this same issue and method of solving, or knows anything about using a muzzle?
