My 4 month old puppy is really smart and has been picking up every trick I can think of....(sit, lay down, roll over, speak, dance, up, shake, come, sit and stay, heal...) I'm out of ideas as to what to train her to do....should I take her to a more advanced training class since she is picking up all these other tricks really fast?

I have a fourty-five pound shepard mix dog, and she has long, very thick fur. I have had her for nine years, and this is the first time this has happened. I have bathed her in a baking soda dog shampoo I bought at the pet store...she still stinks,,,any ideas on what I can do? Also, she has always had the same dog food, and this has been going on for several weeks now...

He is 10 weeks old. He has four that make up his paw, with a smaller 5th toe (not big, but has a claw) that is located to the left and underneath of his (forgive the lack of knowing what exactly it is called) nubby (located underneath his "elbow".

She is 4 years old and has always been healthy. But since last night, she's been acting very strangely. She is very weak and slow, and she trembles from time to time. The worst and most upsetting symptom is that when she's walking around, she will suddenly cry out very loudly or whine with no visible reason for her pain. Mostly she seems to cry out when she jumps up on the bed or when she goes from sitting to standing. She also starting pooping a lot more than usual. Her poop is solid, not runny, but is softer than usual, and yellow and green in color. I checked it for worms, so that's not the problem. When I gently rub her belly, it is not swollen or bloated, but feels cramped and hard to the touch. These symptoms, when combined, seem to point to stomach/abdomen troubles. Lastly, she is very standoffish and does not want to lay in bed with me, which is very unusual--she is normally highly affectionate and cuddly. What is wrong with her? What can I do to make her feel better??

she is walked every day with a labrador so has plenty of exercise, she gets the best of food, her pen is disinfected twice a week, she is wormed and de-flead regulary but still gets them, the vet has to knock her out to shave her and i am always having to put cream on her sores. Is it worth putting up with or kinder to put her to sleep. She is always in good form, they dont seem to give her any bother but she looks so silly covered with patches of baldness and stubble.

the skin on my dogs paw is cracked. Is there something that I can do for her or do I have to take her to the vet? The crack is not severe but it does bother my dog. Is there any creams that I can use like Polysporin or vit E oil?

This also happens whenever no one is around his pen. What should I do? I only adopted him yesterday so that may be a factor.

we've already taught her sit and paw. I searched for other questions about this but none of those suggestions worked: I had her sit, then put the treat by her nose, lowring it to the ground and away from her a little bit, saying down and she was too excited, thinking she was getting a treat, that she either stood up to get closer to the treat or gave me "paw" when i said lay down. I tried kind of moving her front paws out frontwards and saying sit but then she just stands up as well lol. She's a stubborn 6 yr old beagle that we got fro mthe shelter about a month ago and was never taught anything until we got her. So yes, she IS capable of learning trick dispite her age, we just need a different method at learning to "Lay down" any suggestions would be great! thanks!
