My 4 month old puppy is really smart and has been picking up every trick I can think of....(sit, lay down, roll over, speak, dance, up, shake, come, sit and stay, heal...) I'm out of ideas as to what to train her to do....should I take her to a more advanced training class since she is picking up all these other tricks really fast?

She has been totally into the training...but we only practice about twice a day and the rest of the time she is a puppy and LOVES to play with me and my family....She is just so amazing that she is learning these things so fast!

If you're looking for more trick ideas ckeck out Dog Tricks For Dummies. Its full of great trick ideas.

You can also look for a tricks class, or look into agility or flyball.
I think you'd both have fun with those activities

Your dog sounds pretty smart, my puppy was a quick learner to and wen i ran out of tricks to teach him i started making little obstacle courses for him. you can use things around the house just use your imagination. make things to jump on, go under, walk along, go around etc. it can be fun for both of you. do it out side where you have more room.
The good thing about this is that you can keep changing it around so the training is endless. Have fun

Advanced obedience classes are always a good idea but, depending on the dog, obstacle and field training could be fun too.

she sounds very smart. you should let her go to all the classes you can afford as long as she is interested. we have a neighbor who took her dog to those classes where she learned to do things like help carry groceries, get things from the fridge, open doors, turn on lights.etc.. so cool and she goes to nursing homes to bring light into otherwise dark days for some.

Try a rally-o class or an agility class to change it up and encourage attention focusing and teamwork. Good luck!

I wouldn't rush her/him even though she is understanding very well. Let her relax and be a puppy for a while. They will love you for that and you won't regret it.
