I cannnot believe how many stupid, ignorant, uneducated people there are who post questions on this board. It amazes me that these people are allowed to breed children none the less have a dog. Some of the questions I've read are so irresponsible I want to scream. No wonder why animal abuse is so wide spread and shelters are packed to the brim. Shame on all of you.

Honey you are preaching to the choir. Those who you mean to offend won't get it, so don't bother. If you don't like the question move to another. What irritates me are the uneducated, rude people who ANSWER questions.

If you think the situation is bad with dogs, check out the number of cats in shelters. I foster dogs, birds and reptiles. I have a litter of 8 pups coming tomorrow- thats only part of the litter! My coworkers are giving me a hard time for taking these pups and finding them homes. I work with educated, well paid people, and even they don't get it! I just ignore the idiots, and appreciate those who care and are willing to help!!

I've always had dogs in my family and we take great care of them, but the woman who lives 2 doors down is a serial moron for owning dogs. She used to have a large black dog, who was tied up in the garden all day, and used to bark, all day. Eventually it went a bit nuts - every time a car went past on the road about 20 yards away, it went ballistic.
Last year she got this little black puppy, who her stupid ugly kid was dragging around the streets while it was too young. Then that got tied up in the back garden and used to yap all day long.
Few months later she decides to get 2 German Shepherd pups which had free run in the larger area of the front/side garden. They were fine, but as the little black dog was seperated from them, it went nuts all day and ended up biting one of the kids and she got rid of it.
Stupid cow.

Same goes with cats...or any animal for that matter. people think kittens and puppies are sooo cute but don't realize that pet ownership if for life, not just until you get tired of them. I hate how poeple aren't responsible enough to spay or neuter their pets and then let them breed like crazy. These are the same people who don't take their pets to the vet for yearly checkups, feed them cheap food and get rid of them when they move because their new place doesn't "accept" pets. People need to grow up and take responsibility. Just think...these people also go on to "raise" children.

I couldn't agree more- too often people get a dog as an "accessory". and then tire of it.
Getting a dog has been particulary trendy in recent years- it drives me crazy becuase I live in the city- and so many of these are big dogs who don't have decent size yard (if any) to run around in and their owners keep them locked up all day.

Hahahahaha! all I can do is laugh, your right,there are too many people that are uneducated, like my roomate for instance. He knows nothing about dogs or there behavior and tries to tell me things about my dog and he really doesn't have a clue. He feeds his dog chicken bones and other crap that a dog shouldn't have in there digestive tracks. But they have the dog so what can you do, right?

i agree but you won't help by posting like this. answer the questions you feel you are sure about but no matter what always advise them to consult a vet. then with your help and the advise of a vet they will become better educated.

You know it's hard to belive it isn't it? I ask myself the same question when i read some of them. I think some of it is just out of bordom people today can't be that stupid ,or can they?

Yes and no wonder child abuse is so wide spread. The child breeders are paying more attention to their dogs! Double shame on them!
