she coughs and wheezes often it's been about 2 weeks now how can I treat this?

It's more than likely Kennel Cough and she will not need to have in kennels to have contracted this as it is an airborn virus and highly contagious.
It may be that you have not had her inoculated for this but if that is the case don't worry because it can be treated by your vet.
It will take 6 weeks to clear from when treatment begins so please take her to your vet A.S.A.P.

Various thing, Heart worms, kennel cough, upper respiratory infection. Dint mess with it see a vet. Let them run the necessary blood tests to find out. If you want to go ahead and treat for kennel cough amber tecnologies has a kennel cough med thats great check the site. If its kennel cough it should be ending soon but with older dogs it can turn in to something else quickly.

It could be many things none of which you should second guess on line.It could be Worms,Heart worms!

She needs to see a vet, persistent coughing in older dogs can be a sign of heart failure. There are treatments.

my mom used to have a pomerarian that coughed, and the vet said she had a collapsing trachea. Might want to take your dog to the vet to be sure.

THIS COULD BE KENNEL COUGH OR THIS COULD BE SOMETHING LESS SERIOUS LIKE ALLERGIES OR SOMETHING THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE IS TO TAKE HER TO THE VET
MY DOG HAD THE SAME THING AND HE JUST HAS ALLERGIES NOW I GIVE HIM BENADRYL AND HE'S FINE

well it might be kennel cough or sumtin like tht
or she could have asthma i kno lots of dogs like tht
or it could just be because she's old
