The Orbee toys by Planet dog are some of the toughest dog toys made. Instead of giving your pittie toys that he can have all the time and tear up, get toys that involve you intereactivly.
Premier also makes a new line of toys called Busy Buddies, that are designed to give dogs things to do. Put your puppy's food inside a Kong or Busy Buddy toy and let him work for his meal. that gives him things to do to mentally stimulate him.
Take him to Puppy kindergarten. Give him more things to think about and let his brain develop.

Try a kong. They are about $13 but last a life time. You can put peanut butter or his favorite treat in it and he'll have fun trying to get it out. They are also a good way of keeping puppies occupied while no one is home.

try getting one of those die hard kong toys and put some peanut butter on the inside of it. they love that

I have toys called tough chews for my bulldogs they tear anything up I give them but these have lasted over 2 years
