A teacup Yorkie you will have to get cut. Please realize that these dogs are animals, and not toys or props and they need to be treated as such, even if they are tiny and cute. They can live for a good fifteen years, but can also die from the most absurd things (a friend lost her chi abruptly: the dog wanted to jump up in the couch to the owner, but in the process bumped his head on the coffe table and died instantly). I guess I would hope that you are acquiring your next dog based on something more htan the fact that they are 'both so cute'.

You need to read breed standarss and meet some of each..decide which one best fits your lifestyle and your family. Cute should not be criteria for choosing a puppy. They are a lifelong commitment.
***note there is no such thing as "teacup" anything. This is just a term tacked on to the breed name by irresponsible breeders who are selling runts or are delibrately breeding smaller then the breed standard allows. Often these undersized dogs end up with serious health issues..heart, liver, kidney, etc. They also aren't noted for living as long as their normal sized counterparts. If would be recommended to find a responsible breeder who breeds to the breed standard to buy your puppy from instead of falling for irresponsible breeder sales tactics*****

The decision is all yours, but as an owner of a long haired chihuahua I am more partial to them. They are great dogs, but they are very needy, and get deeply attached. I will tell you that a long hair only sheds about twice a year, versus a short hair that sheds on a daily basis.......

do you recognize what a "teacup" (no such genuine factor with the help of how) dogs is? it rather is a few human moron questioning that they have got a proper to play God over different residing creatures. See, what they do, is they get underweight and undersized mothers and dads, they breed them...after which you recognize how the doggies get so small? They rigidity an early start. The doggies are compelled to be born untimely, meaning underdeveloped skulls, brittle bones and weaker organ purposes and their tiny compelled length. they in many circumstances lack a powerful immune device meaning they get ill...usually. and in many circumstances violently to the element of loss of existence. They injure somewhat, and it may additionally convey approximately inner bleeding...even merely from a small fall from a sofa. maximum...do no longer even stay to tell the tale by using their clutter days because of the fact they do no longer look to be sturdy adequate to stay to tell the tale so youthful, small, and somewhat no longer waiting. you desire to purchase from somebody who forces a mom dogs to have her doggies previously than she's meant to merely so which you might have a tiny, injured dogs who probable by using the birthing technique is in extra discomfort than it ever could desire to recognize at one among those youthful (slightly alive) age? For goodness sakes...WHY?? i'm somewhat questioning if there is one among those lack in humanity anymore...i myself am. :(
