I'm always hearing how bad it is for you, is that true? Does it make people fat? Is it bad for your skin? What's the deal?

Even though Bench press is for chest, it uses biceps right?
Is it bad to alternate between working out your arms and chest?
like on monday, wednesday, and friday: Bicep workout
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday : Bench press
is this bad since I'm basically using biceps everyday?

my friend lost 3 pounds in like 3 days.
she told me she only eats twice a day.
now i feel bad because we are in this diet plan.
but i dont really stick with the rules
because i eat breakfast. luch.snack after school
and dinner. she only eats breakfast and dinner.
i cant wait that long. :D
sometimes i eat after dinner too.
im like 5 4 and weight like 155.
she is a bit bigger.
so my question is.. should i do what she is doing ?

After I work out I take whey protein. It tastes really bad but I manage to drink it. Anyways I take the right amount it says on the jar thing. But after I take it, it makes me feel like crap and like I have just ate 5 greasy hamburgers. I feel blowded and my stomache feels sooo full for soo long. Whats wrong? Am I taking to much? is this normal because I have only taken it about 4 times.

I'm a male and I want to improve my vertical leap. I use my stairs for calf raises and I DO NOT own weights.

So how many calf raises should I do a day using stairs to improve my vertical leap? And I want results in 2-3 months, thanks :)

I recently had a flu and i threw up for the first time in several years since I usually only get head-colds instead. But even since I was sick, I'm slowly recovering, and I'm really* hungry but everything I try to make i eat two bites and I'm not interested. If I could force it i will, but the thought of eating is nauseating, but I need food! please help!

usually i dont feel hungry at all when i get home from the gym, i did 45 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes walking at incline on the treadmill and 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise on the elliptical, with varying resistance. Today when i just got home i felt so hungry!! so i ate 2 bowls of special k with skim milk. today i have only had a protein drink, some oatmeal and a piece of low fat cheese so far...should i eat dinner or just leave it now??

ok so this is what i've eatin so far:
this morning i had 2 waffles(w/ syrup),half a glass of 2% milk, and half a home-made sugar-free breakfast cookie. than at school (im in 9th grade lol) i hade a Special K granola bar and half a piece of bread. than when i came home i had an apple and 2 walnuts.
what should i eat 4 dinner that's low in calories but will still fill me up?
and how long should i wait after i eat b4 i can go to sleep?becuase i heard u shouldnt eat right b4 u went to bed.

any ideas. I gained about 15 pounds in 6 months, I work from 12am to 8am, when I go home I don't eat because I go straight to bed then when I wake up around 2pm I eat breakfast, what do you think would be best to do

to mix Lipo 6 and Hoodia pills? Just to help out while eating right and exercising? I have a really really hard time losing weight i eat right and work my but off and lose a pound maybe 2 in two or three weeks i am at a lost maybe some help from those pills i don't want to over do it but maybe taking one pill with a certain ingredient and another with something else would help a little more. I am not expecting to drop pound s the next day after taking them but over a period of time yes..

im 17 years old, 5'8 and weigh 105 pounds

i know its kinda thin
but i dont work at being this weight...i do alot of sports and dont eat much
i dont wanna be unhealthy but the idea of puposely gaining weight....i dont think i could

am i too thin or am i ok?

I've heard a lot of people say eating after 8pm or 9pm especially junk food is particularly bad for your health and sleeping after you eat late night is even worse. I used to have that habit...eating late night and now because the excess fat has cost me my good health I have decided to permanently cut the habit. But with that said I see lots of college kids and HS kids go out to Applebees or Diners late at night to get appetizers like Nachos an Mozerella Sticks and Buffalo Wings at 11-12pm at night...are they going down the same road to an unhealthy life?

hey i love my body but the onyl thing is is that i ahve love handles i mean ok i look great to my boyfriend but to me when i look in the mirror i see like a roll on my hips i HATE it .....
Can anyone help me with tips to loose it quick and effectivlly but something i can go around my school schedule i mean i eat as healthy as i can but u knwo school food i get salad most of the tiem but just walking 12 blocks to and from school and eatign salad wont do anything sure i play softball int he spring and in summer mess around with sports with my friends but thats nto much it's winter NOTHING to do for it now....plz help me anyway u can.......i want to be more confident in my body...and make myself look better in the mirror.....thanks any sugestions welcome!!!!

Hi, in july 2007 i started my diet and i was 245LBS now at this present day im 185LBS which is 13.4 stone. ive still got a belly and i want to slim down to about 11-11.5 Stone by Febuary 2008. When i go to the gym i just cannot be arsed to anything and just go back home or go out. Im 17.5 years old and i dont no what the right weight is for me. Im 5ft 10, 17 years old and 185LBS.

Ive just started on some tablets which they seem mint, they arnt loosing my weight but they stopping myself put on weight. I dont no what 2 do. Maybes go very strict on a diet and burn off more than what i eat.

I no inside i can do this, but i just need that extra push to get me there. In the gym im at no one goes cos its like in college and its empty at nite time, thats good cos i get all the machines lol :). But i wud prefer a packed atmospehere just to keep me going.
