I'm a male and I want to improve my vertical leap. I use my stairs for calf raises and I DO NOT own weights.

So how many calf raises should I do a day using stairs to improve my vertical leap? And I want results in 2-3 months, thanks :)

Do as many as you can until it burns to much to do anymore.

the calves are used to supporting the total bodyweight daily so it would be highly unlikely that training them with the body weight only would cause in increase in strength. you can try but what you have to do is basically do very high reps until failure, rest for 10-15 seconds and continue and do this for 2-3 times and each one of these would count as 1 set. make sure to do an equal amount of reps/sets for each leg. make sure to stretch out the entire leg throughly. stretching and being flexible is essential for optimizing strength and power. the power relaxed that a muscle is at rest the more force it can generate over it's entire range of motion. so increasing flexibility can increase both speed and power. since you don't have weights you may also want to look into plyometrics. plyometrics are a very effective method of increasing speed and power in the legs. you also have to practice jumping vertically a lot to become more efficient at that particular movement.

maybe do something like Mon-Wed-Fri: calve raises and stretching and Tue-Sat do some plyometrics and sprinting or another form of high intensity cardio
