I do body pump twice a week and yoga twice a week. I am 45 years old and have been doing this for years. However in the past year i have been bothered with severre neck and shoulder pain and also now sore knees.
I love the exercise i do but am worried i am harming myself. what do you think? i keep my weights down now and have seen osteopath/physio for neck but nothing provides long term relief. i feel the body pump does affect my neck. However i dont want to get fat or flabby. Any ideas?

how much weight would you lose? and how could you kind of sculpt it back into a normal healthy diet so you don't gain it back immediatly

I'm following weight watchers, i'm saving points all through the week for my weekend takeaway.

I'm not eating chocolate, having plenty of fruit and veg and going on a half and hours walk every day!

Any tips of ideas i want to lose 31/2 stone by the summer

right well i'm 15 about 16-19 stone and 6''1'. i am overweight and the whole thing is depressing i've tryed watching my weight tryed going to the gym tryed lifting weights everyday haven't seen any results at all the whole thing is depressing.
i went without food for a day once.. it was hard but i did it. so i'm thinking.. what about if i only eat every other day. ie no food monday food tuesday and so on..
i'm sick of reading these elaborate diets which cost money you have to count the amount of whatever chemical on eat food it's impossible at the gym they told me that you can turn fat to mussle (don't correct my spelling) i came home searched for it and apparantly you can't burn fat i'm so ******* depressed right now why did i have to eat like a pig in the first place anyway would you recommend this way to loose weight

i am a 15 year old male. i was in day school but i got in to much trouble.im not a bad kid but i got sent to night school..well anyways i have to walk to school..i only carry a note book so i sprint whenver possible un till i get tired..then i all out sprint again.. i can recover fatigue quickly so im running alot...im not losing that much weight..i mean im a bigger kid..like i look at the other kids at school and im like really ... im fat but not obece..catch my drift.i want to be skinny so i dont have a belly or fat around the legs .. but i have plenty of time and exercise time what should i do about the diet i mean i eat 3 times a day but not that much...i need help..i get motivated one day..then a few days later i just get caried away i reall need support i want to be slender like the other kids..i also want to lose muscle is that possible...i have alot of muscle around the legs but im just concentrated on losing fat and fat only...i weigh 290 and i wanto get down to 200.

Does any one have any handy recipies? I have tried it mixed with cottage cheese, mixed with yogurt, and as a salad dressing, but the smell and texture really make me gag. I have never been able to stand any oil (bad experience with a pancake once) and I really really would like to include this in my diet. To take it in the capsule form would mean taking over 20 capsules in a day, and I cannot tolerate that either (previous gastric tumor surgery). I need 4 table spoons a day, but at the moment, cannot take even 1/4 of a teaspoon.

All ideas welcome!

I am planning on running to the ymca every morning during winter break and lifting. Im just focusing on my upper chest (pectoralis major). I do not know much exercises to increase muscle or how many times so any information on building muscle in your pecs would be greatly appreciated

ok so for breakfast i ate: mandarine oranges, a graham cracker, and a couple of sips of orange juice.

for lunch i ate: at CiCi's pizza. i had some pasta there and two of the little slices of cheese pizza.

for dinner i ate: some salad with carrots and grilled chicken, no dressing or cruotons or anything. just the lettuce, carrots, and chicken.

a little later i ate: two golden delicious apples.


so how did i do today? i guessed that i ate about 1200 calories.

I am thirteen years old, 5'4 or 5'5, and 105 pounds. thanks!

There's a guy on the Internet who claims to be an amateur bodybuilder, but he looks kind of fat in his photos. He says that the bodybuilding magazines present an unrealistic image of bodybuilders, because the guys in the photos and in the competitions often deplete their muscles to a certain point, so that their musculature will be accentuated. Is this at all true, or is it a lie?

Ok. January 3rd I am going to a kick boxing class for 1 1/2 months every Tuesday and Thursday, so i figued that is when i will start my diet and exersize. But i need help on other things. So if you could, Tell me what to eat, what not to eat, and how to tone these areas of the body.

1) The abdomen
2) The legs (upper leg perfrebly)
3) The arms
4) booty
