ok, im in egypt & when i go on the scale it tells me im 47..something, i think its Kg's, but im not sure so if anyone knows what that is in lb's please tell me =)

When i visit my doctor, i told him i was on diet. He said, if i take bean vermicelli (i.e. glass noodles) instead of rice, rice vermicelli or noodles, my carbohydrate consumption will be lower. Because bean vermicelli gives us protein instead of carbohydrate. How true is that?

I'm 19, 5'7 and I weigh about 140lbs. Probably a little more.

I know this is a healthy normal weight and blablabla... I don't feel good about my body and that's what matters. I have sort of flabby arms, thighs and my bum and belly could definately use some work.

So I want suggestions to what I can do to lose some weight and tone up!
I don't have time to work out! I walk to work which is about 30 minutes and that's that.
I try to eat healthy but lately I've been eating so much junk and it's had a bad impact on my mood, body, SKIN etc. so no more of that.

I want some HEALTHY suggestions to meal plans, please.

i know protein is really important but if i dont excersise do i reallllllly need so much? like people say always have protein with breaky etc.. i know its the building blocks for muscle .. but i dont excersise and basically do nothing all day *16* and doesn't it just make you gain weight anyways?

If you take a three year break do you lose the muscles that you worked hard to get, or do they still remain under all the fat

I am away for 3 weeks with minimal excercise. How long will it take for the results of sudden drop in excercise and increase in eating (not big) take to show?

I'm quite lean with some unwanted fat on my belly and breasts (they are hanging a bit if you know what I mean). I've got quite big arms and legs, but my shoulders are a bit too small and my chest is as I mentioned. I just want to feel comfortable when I take my shirt off.

I currently work on the same muscle group twice per week. For example, I work on my chest, shoulders, and arms for one day; then I rest for 2 days and rotate like this. Some say you should only work on a particular muscle group once per week to grow muscles. I'm quite confused. I don't want to waste time working out the wrong way.

Also, I do 4 sets of 8-12 reps per exercise with the same weight on each set. Should I vary the weights for each set?

Some also said that you must increase the weights and change your routines regularly to manipulate your muscles. Exactly how does one do that? For example, how do I change how I do a bench press exercise? Do I vary the speed or something?

I always get bored when I exercise. I think it's because I'm always doing a billion things at once, so I'm used to that -- I'll be watching TV, IM chatting a few people, playing with the cats, web surfing a few tabbed windows, etc. I bounce back and forth. Meditation and yoga? Totally impossible for me.

The problem when I exercise is I get bored. I try riding the back and watching TV or reading, and I get all antsy. Just walking around bores me unless it's a new environment (and preferably something like, say, Disney World -- that never bores me).

I'm too overweight and unfit now to feel comfortable playing a team sport. So far, the best thing I've found is Dance Dance Revolution -- but even with half a dozen games, it gets old. Maybe some Wii games would entertain AND exercise me? I always hear about people getting a workout, but I'm not sure what games they play. I thought about juggling, that's at least a little more exercise than sitting on my butt. Any other suggestions?

i've gained 20 fricken pounds since JUNE!!! just from stopping soccer because i hurt my back!!!!

now when i sit down i get 4 BIG fat rolls and i have love handles and my belly and butt jiggle when i walk!!!!

i don't know where to start to lose weight ause i've never had to before and i have really bad habits!!! i eat over 2800 calories a day and i can't work out or do storts because of my back!!!

i need help!!! would stopping eating mcdonalds and drinking soda me the first thing i should stop doing?!?!? or should i try to stop eating ice cream every night?!?! i need to take it slowly!!! HELP

When it was warmer, I was going for walks everyday, atleast 30 min, sometimes more. Because I was exercising, I was more careful about my diet. I even cut down on my Mountain Dews to one can every other day. Now it is too cold to go out (have to take baby with me--too cold for her). Everything is unraveling and I have gained 6 lbs already. Anyone else going through this? What do you do to stop winter weight gain?

Allright, what I am looking for is a good product for a guy like me. I am looking for something that keeps my muscles strong and toned, but not make me freakishly big.

I run a couple days a week, and do sets of push ups, curls, and benchpress 5 days a week at my house. It keeps me in pretty good shape, but I amm looking for a supplement to make it a little easier. What I mean by that is, if I miss 2 days in a row, I literally feel like I have gained 15 pounds and have no muscles left. I am just looking for a good product to help me keep (and slightly INCREASE) my "toned" factor, but not make me freakishly big. Never really taken anything before, so relatively new at this! I went to GNC.com and they have literally thousands of supplements, with no real laymens descriptions.

PS. Dont think it needs to be said, but I DONT want steroids or HGH!

To lose any weight ( and it show ) if you are eating out every sunday at different restaurants ??


My husband deems it necessary to eat out every sunday after church. I know we spend so much money that I think it grows on the woods behind us ....... I do swim aerobics ( medium strength ) 5 days a week, casual walk my dog maybe 3 days a week for 30 minutes, and try to get to the gym for weight training 15/ 30 minutes 5 days a week but now it's been about once a week. I am female and 40 yrs old.

What do you think ??

I try to eat healthy when eating out but its hard when I'm eating a salad and their eating ribs. I am about 50 pounds overweight now and I can tell my body is making room for more stored fat.

Any and all suggestions are helpful.

im 14 years old and weight 155 pounds ( cuz im a bit tall that adds on to my weight im 5 foot 8 inches or 5 foot 7, cant remember.
anyways since highschool started ( stupid caf food) i've gained weight. so im trying to loose some.
so how much calories should i eat in a day?

You see I'm not fat, I just have a little bit of fat in some parts of my body that i want to burn for good. I do exersize and eat vegetables and fruits you know i eat very balance.


but sometimes when I'm sit down and not doing anything I can feel some parts of my body like getting hot or like if they have a small candle on me mostly I feel this on my back and chest.

What does this mean, is that my body is burnign fat or what?
