For various reasons, psychological and physical, I like very few fruits and veggies. I am concerned that I do not get enough of them in my diet. I take a multivitamin but what other supplement(s) are out there that would help me.

ive never been to one, so i have no clue how the machines all work, and i cant afford a personal trainer to show me everything and what kind of workout to do.
also maybe this is a stereotype, but are gyms always full of posers who like to show off their muscles and how superfit they are? i would feel very self concience in front of those kind of people

is there any thing that is in pills or any supplement that will melt fat REALLY QUICKLY. i need to lose weight. My doctor said use pills as last resort. I dont have the time to excersize.

It is not the use of ephedra that is bad. It is the MISUSE of ephedra (or anything else for that matter) that has serious side effects. I took ephedra for years and never had one problem. It is those people who do not follow the directions that have problems. You would have problems with any substance that you misused.
The ephedra ban should be lifted.

I am training to go into the AirForce and I need to drop weight to get into my weight class......I am wondering is it a good idea to work out in the morning before I eat???? Also, does anyone know any good healthy "diets'

In the summer, I underwent the cabbage soup diet, and I started walking and jogging on a daily basis, and I lost 8 pounds and kept it. When school started, my exercise was less rigorous, and I did not exercise for 1 month because of my knee. My weight was 142, then it went back to 145. I then, for 2 months. I exercised frequently for 2 months, but without any diet; did not abuse junk food , though I had it very occasionally. I kept eating chocolate , especially lately. I found today I am 1 pound more! I am very upset with my body and self,,,So should I starve myself to lose weight? Why I am adding pounds, though I was exerciing daily lately?????? I am very upset.I want to do the soup again, but I am afraid I won't lose weight.

I'm having surgery on Wednesday and I wont be able to lift for like a month. Also Imma have to b on a liquid diet for 2 weeks so thats like until the new year ugh! what can I do or take to avoid losing a lot of muscle!!? i'm 20 if that matters

its always something like:

monday:
squat, bench, dead lift, pull ups

wednesday:
squat, bent over rows, overhead press, dips

friday:
squat. bench, power clean,


is this normal? and if so when are u supposed to work out ur triceps, biceps, forearms, abs and watever other muscle groups this type of program is missing

I bought this Wheight Gainer 2200 Gold (Pro Performance) and it says to put three rounded sccops. That seems like way to much powder, And the plastic scoop inside is huge. I tried it and I cant even swallow it with that many scoops added to milk. How do I know how much to put in the milk? I think I might be doing it wrong. How much do I put? And still get the amount of calories I need to gain weight?

Most people Either assume "working out is to hard", or "working out doesn't even help them", working out will always "pay-off" if you actually do it. Theirs many different ways to work out, but thats not what Im here to ask you. You see, the main reason people quit working out is, honestly its too boring. If their was a fun way to work out, im sure everyone would be doing it. Also a large majority of people don't work out, because they think their going to have to stop eating all their favorite foods, you don't have to go on extreme dieting, you just have to cut back. You can basically eat the same stuff, just less of (less is more!). So heres my question for you, What can you do to make working out fun?

my older sister is really super extremly skinny(not unhealthy) but she eats chips and ice cream and cookie dough and doesn't extersize much and my brothers, well, they don't count. my little brothers run aton, older lifts heavy weights, so... my mom is skinnyish, my dad(no offence to him) isn't. i extersize some and eat less then my sister, but i'm SO much fatter. is my metabolism slower then theirs??

History: I've always been big since i was about 8-9 years old. When I was a Senior in HS i decided to lose weight, I got a private personal trainer and I went from 250 to 195 in about 6 months. I then I knew enought to go on my own so i went to 24 hour fitness.

Since then I've bascally been up and down, Ive gone back up and back down, finally I was at 215 and saw i was going back to what i used to be and started up again .

Now Im at 193 from 215 and im at 40 1/2 waist (Im 5'11 btw)

I can tell my stomach is a lot smaller but I've been really trying to focus on my abs but its seems i usally do a lot of my upper abs and sides which is OK but its my lower abs were fats at it seems its really not going away. I also alternate doing biceps, triceps, back, shoulders, legs etc. Everything is showing definition, but when it comes to my abs theres still a big bloob there.

Not that its not better cuz it is but what would be some good excersises that I can make my stomach flat?
