you won't lose any muscle taking a month off from training. just make sure to drink enough calories. you may want to decrease your carb intake and up the protein during your month off to reduce the odds of any fat gain

Mix protein supplements with your liquid foods. Some mix with water and are pure protein.

1g protein gives 4 calories. If you need 2000 calories a day, then 1500 calories should be in protein for the first week, 1000 calories for the 2nd and third and back to 500 for the last week.

75% daily intake of calories in protein for the first week, 50% your daily intake of calories in protein for the 2nd and third week, back to 25% of protein calories intake in your last 4th week.

You could use human growth hormones (HGH), sold at training centers.

HGH, but don't get used to it, just for the time you're not training. It's better to train with your own natural hormones once you're healed.

If you decide to take HGH, take the full dose on day one and decrese the dose by 4% each day until you've reached 0% on your last day. That way you will benefit from the HGH without your body getting used to it.

You could lift your own weight. You could lift your arms 500 times instead of just 12 to 25 times. That way you will still exercice your muscles but without the stress of weight.

Have you ever tried to keep your arms extended for long times, after a while it gets tough even though you hold no weight except your arms itself.

This will help you keep your muscle tone.
