For various reasons, psychological and physical, I like very few fruits and veggies. I am concerned that I do not get enough of them in my diet. I take a multivitamin but what other supplement(s) are out there that would help me.

Update: Thx for the advice. I'm currently living at a dorm so preparing/buying the food isn't a great option in my case. I'd heard of some stuff like Juice Plus (?) which is basically powdered veggies/fruits but I read it doesn't absorb well. I'm just wondering if there is easy stuff like that to partially negate my diet.

supplements are near worthless with out a sufficient intake of whole foods. if you don't like veggies try them in various soups they lose most of the original taste and texture. try juicing to make smoothies etc. with fruits.

the human body is designed to live off of all natural foods like fruits and veggies not supplements, they do not have the same effect on the body or health.

No supplement can substitute for whole fruits and veggies. Vitamin pills, powders, liquids, juices etc do not have the same nutrients nor the fiber of whole foods.

Another major factor is that when you fill up on fruits and veggies, you are less likely to eat too much meat or junk food.

Find some that you like and eat them.

I bet you eat corn. Clemtines, grapes, berries, cucumbers? Try to start adding friiuts and veg slowly. try something new each week. Taking a sipplement does not replace the real vitamin and minerals and cannot replace the phytochemicals. If your concerned for your health, make the effort. Try preparing them different ways (food.com or allrecipes.com are two recipe websites) Remember Fresh, then frozen then can if necessary.

EDIT
living in a dorm can kinda suck when it comes to food, but you still can eat friuts that do not need to be cooked and you can steam veggies in the microwave, usually they have frozen bags or you cna put them in a dish with a little water.

You need to research the brand of vitamins you are taking on the web to be sure your brand is one on that is well absorbed by the body. If it isn't well absorbed it isn't doing you much good. Also add a good antioxidant supplement to your daily routine.
