it should be happy with the bread and cereal. why does it want sugar?

bread and most cereals have the same effect on blood sugar levels as most high sugar foods do. they are heavily processed and no longer in there natural state. they dissolve rapidly when mixed with water and even faster when mixed with digestive enzymes. basically you are eating sugar that's why your body is constantly craving it.

most heavily processed breads and cereals are close to a 70-75 of the glycemic index, jelly beans are an 80.

the majority of your carbs should come from all natural sources in there natural state. foods like whole oats, beans, lentils, whole grain rice, etc. these are healthy carbs.
