Body builders are usually well known for having bulk muscles. Bulk muscles are usually gained through target weight training.

Lean muscles are usually found on swimmers. You get it with proper diet, cardio, strengh training. No target exercises.

the amount of body fat is the difference not the amount of muscle. take a bodybuilder in competition time when the body fat is low at 4-5% and in the off season when it's much higher at around 14-15%.
