work out before dinner
then after your work out drink a whey protein shake and l-glutamine
you should stick to whole grains, eggs, cheese, some form of protein for breakfest
for lunch try to eat some kind of salad, water, meat for sure, grains
dinner,vegetables,protein in any form,
remember protein is the MOST important thing in your diet
if you want to lose weight cut down your portion sizes
if your looking to gain muscle work out with weights
but if its just to lose weight
do cardio(running)(biking)(jump roping) etc.
and stay away from fast food and pop and sugary foods
just stay motivated
good luck,
Dylan

It is always a good idea to EAT breakfast every morning before you begin any kind of work to help with the energy supply of the body. A good diet if you want to lose weight are oatmeals, canned tunas (rich in protein), and fruits.

In boot camp we typically did our morning PT (Physical Training) before breakfast. Made sense, as if you ate, you would be puking before the end of the run.

Typically your glucose levels are too low to work out early however, from the realistic view.

A healthy diet is one that contains all the essential food groups, including fats. Eliminating fats, contrary to popular belief is detrimental to health and good weight loss or muscle growth. This includes fats and proteins particularly from eggs and dairy.

Good luck in boot camp.

Actually it depend on your body limit. You can start to try work out with taking breakfast, but if you feel dizzy and very tired after the workout, thats mean your body need some energy/carbo/protein before proceed with the work out. Nut remember, don't take too much, you will feel uncomfortable to do the work out.

For healthy diet, try some banana or energy bar before the work out.

no it is not a good idea because your muscles need to expand and if you work out before eating your muscles are very tight from resting at night therefore u must eat healthy food to allow your muscles to expand during your workout and then after your workout eat or drink protein whether it be a protein shake or wutever but u must eat unless your muscles will not grow and it is not good for your health if u just wake up and work out it slows down ur system.

hope it helps!!

Is it a good idea to work out before I eat breakfast? not at all.

the body is in a hypoglycemic state (low blood sugar) upon waking. it's near impossible to exercise at a high level of intensity in a fasted state. cortisol is also highest as this time so exercising in this fasted state is extremely catabolic which impedes fat loss and jeopardizes muscle mass. the intensity at which exercise is performed at determines the increase in the resting metabolic rate (RMR) after exercise, where real fat loss occurs. attempting to burn fat during the actual exercise session is basically a waste of time and is not optimum.

Exercising before eating actually decreases appetite. It also sets your metabolism at a high rate for the day, so it would be a good idea to work out before breakfast.

You want to work out before eating b/c instead of burning food you eat you'll be burning your fat reserves.
Healthy diets? replace dessert w/ fruits, learn about portion control and eat small meals throughout the day, cut fried stuff too.
