You need some protein in your diet and is an essential source of calorie. Yes you need to eat protein.

No you don't need to be taking the protein shakes, they help if you're looking to lose weight, but you have to have a regimine. Simply drinking the occassional protein shake isn't going to do much for you.

It's a common misconception that Protein is a weight gainer. It's not. It does contain calories, but so does Coke. If you're not interested in building muscles or losing weight, why are people telling you to consume protein?

look basically the more protein you take in the faster your muscles will recuperate after a workout, furthermore the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns therefore creating a defense against gaining fat, finally, those protein shakes which you may consider can really fill you up so you will have a tendency to eat less while taking them. I have read article after article and been told that protein does NOT to turn into fat!! Another great supplement to build muscle is conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)

Proteins are in almost all the parts of your body, skin, eyes, blood, brain, heart and all your organs. Proteins are the building blocks for the immune system. The proteins naturally breakdown and need to be replaced.
