there is absolutely no medical data that supports statements that heavy resistance training retards the growth of the human skeletal system in the adolescent.

there are insufficient levels of androgens in the body in the prepubescent child and the time in training is insufficient for them to even be able to lift heavy loads. it takes many, many years to master the form in most compound exercises before any real progress can be made. heavy is also subjective, what is heavy to one person may be extremely light to another

well. for teenagers, the answer is yes, because they are still growing. Too much exercise for a teenager is very bad for their growth. When I mean too much exercise I meant 2 hours and 30 mins plus!. But however, it is even more worst for girls who overdue exercise, because their period will stop.

if u are still growing yes ... that's why i'm not lifting weigh (i have always the hope to grow )
