Woah!!! You are wayyy too light. Your BMI is around 16 and normal is considered 18.5 - 24.9 . I don't care how much sport you do that is wayyy too thin. These are some examples of celebs and their BMI:
Paula Radcliffe - Marathon Runner - 18.0
Victoria Beckham - Footballers Wife - 17.0
Jennifer Aniston - Actress - 17.5
You should really just start eating like a pig and stop running so much. I'm sorry but you're more skinny than Victoria Beckham... enough said. I'm sure if you call oxfam they should be able to arrange something otherwise just try and eat more in general. Skinny is better than fat for sure but put on some damn weight!

well, missing your period for 7 consecutive months is probably not a good sign. you have ammorhea, which can lead to infertility, which is depressing and frustrating.
yes, you are underweight/very thin. your BMI is only 16! I think you should talk to a dietician not only because your BMI is way low (below the 1st percentile for girls your age!) but because you've been missing your period.
If you don't like the idea of purposely gaining weight, don't worry. the dietician might say it's just important to maintain your current weight since you might continue to lose weight with all the exercise!
I think you should get to about 118 pounds to prevent health risks!

Hello,
(ANS) As long as you are NOT forcing yourself to be a certain weight by under eating, or by over doing the sports. As long as you are not forcing yourself to be a certain weight then I think you should ignore what other people say to you about your weight. As long as you feel comfortable in your own body that all that matters, even if you are technically under weight. Its nobody else's business, what matters is that you are happy with how you are.
At 17 years old I was myself very slim and at 5.6 was only about 8stone and was this way for many years.
**I'd have to say you sound just about the right weight to me, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think your worrying is unfounded but I can understand this because there is so much pressure on young girls & young women to look a certain way. All that size zero stuff in the fashion business makes me very angry really.

Kind of?
Your ideal weight, for someone as tall as you, would be 140 lbs, give or take ten pounds. So yeah, I'd definitely say you're UNDERWEIGHT.
Are you still getting your period? If not, you NEED to gain weight. It's unhealthy and you're harming your body if you are dieting and exercising to stay that thin, which it sounds like to me if you play a lot of sports and don't eat much.
Try eating more healthy foods with higher calories, like nuts, pasta, potatoes, etc. Eat MORE portions.

Yes, you are underweight...but so am I. I am 22 years old, 5'4" tall and weigh 97 lbs. And not many people ever tell me I look to thin beacuse I am healthily thin. I have a very high metabolism and this is how I will always be. Just eat healthy...that's all.

Well you have a bmi of 16.0 which is underweight. Putting on weight doesn't mean eating lots of fatty foods, it can involve weight training to bulk out your muscle and filling yourself out. If your too thin you will look like a bean poll, nobody likes that.
This helps alot:

Kinda thin? You're a rail. You're supermodel thin. A stiff breeze could probably snap you in half. You're underweight and there's no way to disguise it.
To be at a healthy weight I'd say you should be at least 120 pounds.

Well if you don't feel too thin, then you're not. simple. :3
Dont listen to others its your body as long as you feel fine and good then screw what others think.
Plus you do sports, so i would think its normal for you to be "thin". And besides every body is different, I have a friend who is same height as you and can eat mountains and not put on anything, *lucky dog =P* Nature could have designed you that way for all you know...

Based on your weight, age and activity level, The Health Calculator will tell you whether you need to gain, weight, lose weight or stay at your current weight. It will then prescribe a calorie intake for you based on your goals and tell you how long it will take to get to your target weight.
