It's not good to eat twice a day. This will slow your metabolism, taking you longer to burn fat and increase your chances of binge eating when you get a craving. Also, people who eat breakfast daily are statistically thinner than people who do not, so breakfast is an important one. To keep your metabolism going, you should eat breakfast, a small mid morning snack, a light lunch, a small afternoon snack and a sensible dinner. Any evening snacking needs to be done before 8pm (that's my own personal rule). Typical snacks I eat include all kinds of fresh fruit, a granola bar, a yogurt, celery or carrot sticks, pretzels or maybe some cheezit crackers or baked lays if I am craving something salty. The point is, to watch what you eat and exercise, that's the best and healthiest way to lose weight.

not if you want to be healthy and lose weight (body fat).

your friend is only losing water weight. it takes 3-4 weeks on a healthy and balanced diet before measurable fat loss occurs. in order for the body to release fat stores it must get sufficient calories and there must be sufficient nutrients. it is impossible to get everything that the body needs to function at optimal levels of effeciency with only 2 meals. the body does not have the storage capacity for most nutrients so when you eat the body uses what it needs then excretes the rest. eating smaller meals every 3-4 hours not only allows the body to better utilize the nutrients ingested but it helps to keep blood sugar levels stable which have a positive effect on energy levels, cognitive thinking and many other biological functions.

keeping eating your 3 meals and a snack. just make sure that the foods that you are consuming are of high quality and this means all natural foods.

you can i do what she does. But if you like to eat like that eat 6 small portions like fruit and vegetables.

or try my diet plan your a little over weight to be the height and weight. I am 5'4 and weight that much in the summer till i stop eating breakfast and only dinner. but ate fruits till then and no eating after 7pm.

to get started no soda drink a gallon of water a day spring or distill no tap water!! or crystal light for your meals.

Lunch eat a grilled chicken breast vegetables with light oil or margarine and a fruit.

Dinner eat a tuna or chicken salad and a small cut of vegetables and a fruit.

no eating after 7pm !!

Try this for 3 weeks and see the difference only if you really want to loose weight.

The fine solution to devour is to eat when your hungry unless your satisfied and then do not devour except your hungry once more. If two meals a day is working for then you definitely yeah, go for it :)

because of the fact the physique needs the skill to function precise, the two bodily and mentally. in certainty, it extremely is extra powerful to consume many small nutrition (5) in the process the day yet that isn't attainable. such as you, I consume two times an afternoon, I pass lunch yet, I particularly have a small snack extremely.

no, you shouldn't do what she's doing. it might work for the short term, but it most likely won't work in the long run. be careful with how much you eat... wide swings in your blood sugar aren't good for you! drink plenty of water and balance your food intake with natural fresh foods. good luck! if you exercise it will help too!

It's best to eat lots of low fat tiny meals (like a bird) throughout the day.

no it is ok...eat breakfast and then lunch and then stop eating untill the next day...this will release your growth hormone from the pituitary gland and will help you lose weight.but if you do it another way it is harmful...for example do not do it this way..eating breakfast and a huge dinner...or skipping breakfast....what is important is nothing eating before sleep...the longer hours the better...the worst enemy is a huge dinner

I always eat only twice a day, did this for years. Why is this bad? As long as you do not overeat during these two times, you'll be fine.

Five Basic Nutrition Strategies For Healthy eating:

Eat High-Fiber Low-Glycemic Foods:
Low-glycemic foods are carbohydrates that breakdown slowly, releasing sugar into the bloodstream gradually rather than all at once. These foods almost always contain fiber. The fiber is what is mostly responsible for slowing the absorption of the sugars. These foods can provide long-lasting energy. Most vegetables (especially dark green), most fruits, whole-grains and nuts are high-fiber, low-glycemic. For optimal health, get your grains intact from foods such as whole wheat (whole-grain) bread, brown rice, whole-grain pasta, and other possibly unfamiliar grains like quinoa, whole oats, and bulgur.

Eat More Protein:
Your body requires more energy (calories) to process protein than it does carbohydrates. Eating more protein can increase your metabolism, thereby increasing your bodys ability to burn fat. Protein is necessary for your body to build muscle, and building more muscle increases your ability to burn fat. Good options include eggs, low-fat or no-fat dairy products, lean meat, poultry, seafood and whey protein supplements. Nuts and legumes are also excellent sources of protein; plus you get the added benefit of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Legumes include black beans, red beans, pinto beans, navy beans, garbanzos, and other beans that are usually sold dried.

Eat Frequent Small Meals Throughout The Day:
Eat 6 smaller meals per day, rather than 2-3 larger meals. This will ensure that you will supply your body with the necessary nutrients to build muscle and burn fat while increasing your metabolic rate. It will also supply a constant stream of energy to prevent fatiguing early and prevents the body from kicking into starvation mode. If this happens, your body will burn muscle for energy increasing your body fat stores as well as slowing down your metabolism.

Eat Balanced Meals:
I eat lots of chicken and fish plus an occasional serving of lean red meat. I love my salads and veggies. Beans, brown rice and whole-wheat pasta are my side dishes. I snack on fruits and nuts and even use them to top whole-grain cereals and yogurt. I drink fat free milk everyday which I use also in smoothies. My meals are simple and nutritious. I balance my meals by making sure I’m eating plenty of protein and fiber in each meal.

NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST:
This is the one meal you cannot afford to miss! Jump start your day with a high-fiber, high protein meal containing complex carbohydrates, avoiding simple (sugary) carbohydrates which trigger hunger and sleepiness a few hours later. Choose whole-grain cereals that are loaded with fiber and protein instead of sugar (i.e. Kashi Go Lean .. or Oatmeal). Top with fat-free milk or soy milk and sliced almonds. Sweeten with blueberries or strawberries for a boost in disease fighting antioxidants. Smoothies are great for breakfast too!

I hope this will help
Merry Christmas
