One of his friends said send her the stuff and she would bake it using a little oven she has. the problem is they have no eggs at their disposal .. You think I could just bake it myself wrap it up tight and send the frosting to her t frost it for me?? What about the eggs in it will it make them sick?? It could take 5-6 days or longer to get to him.. PLEASE HELP IS there a cake mix i could use that doesnt have eggs or is there a substitute for eggs I could use in a cake.. THANKS

I'm 19 and have never even turned our stove on before.. I've never boiled water unless it's in the microwave. I'm not sure on things like tea-spoons, table spoons, etc. What's a good book for me to look into purchasing? Something preferably with pictures that starts with the very very very basics with some simple, but practical recipes.

So, I've been making ice cream with my ice cream maker without eggs, and it has turned out pretty well. But, upon searching online for other ice cream recipes, I've found that nearly all call for the use of raw eggs. I don't understand what purpose the raw eggs serve when included in ice cream. Can someone please explain it for me?

My boyfriend is working until early afternoon tomorrow.
I'd figure I'd surprise him when he gets home and have a romantic lunch set up for the two of us. He's been working so hard recently, and is so down that all he can do is work-work-work then come home and pass out. So I got champage, I got a date like outfit picked up, even lightly scented candles, and a CD of his favorite jazz music.
But what should I made that isn't too heavy, yet romantic for a surprise lunch for two? Include recipes if possible. =)
Thanks!

I have been trying to make ice cream with an ice cube filled motorized maker. I use 50% heavy cream, 50% 1/2&1/2 with vanilla and 1 cup of sugar. My ice cream never hardens to a soft cream that is should, why?

Does anyone have any good, fast, and easy ways to cook Shredded Crab?

I went to the store and as always, I buy something I've never eaten before. This time I bought some crab, actually the label on the package reads: "Shredded Crab (imitation crab)" A Blend of fish w/snow crab.

The crab pieces are shredded like shredded cheese. Since this is the first time I've ever bought something like this, does anybody out there have any good ways to cook this?
