Next week I am scheduled to have my gallbladder and appendex taking out because of severe complications I am currently having. The doctor has already placed me on a low fat diet (25-35 grams of fat per day), and I am COMPLETELY not used to this way of life. I'm all about meat... potatoes... butter... and lots of grease. I enjoy lots of spice, as well. I already know with my gallbladder out I will need to be close to a bathroom after a more-than-bland meal.

But my question is... where can I find tasty recipies that will satisfy my fatty cravings yet ultimately be low-fat? How do I turn my already-perfect recipies to be easier on the fat? Generally---how should I go about decreasing my daily fat intake?

i know this tips that, if you boil eggs, you just add salt to the water so that when later you want to peel the skin the white part of the egg wont stick to the skin, i wonder what is the scientific explanation for it?

You have four choices:
1. "Roasted Garlic" tomato sauce,
2. "Fire roasted tomato and garlic sauce"
3. "Vodka sauce" tomato sauce
4. green curry simmer sauce

It's wheat pasta, fyi. thin spaghetti.

No cheese since fish and cheese don't mix.

I made the switch from Miracle Whip to mayonnaise about 6 months ago as I suddenly lost my taste for sweet. I've also discovered that I could make mayonnaise myself using my blender wand, a cup at a time. Are there preferred oils for making this? Also, what is the typical refrigerator life before you should throw it and make more? What sort of additives, besides mustard and chives, makes a good mayo? I will continue to use commercial product for potlucks, but wow, it's so easy to make!

I am looking for different versions of Fudge recipes. I am especially searching for Vanilla and Maple Fudge recipes!
Love the fudge I find at the festivals but don't know how to make it. I make a great Peanut butter one though. Will share with anyone who posts a great recipe for me!

I don't have to cook two different meals for myself and the kids. I would appreciate ideas including low carb green and white veggies. I can eat white meat, lean red meats (but I don't eat red meats often), and seafood.

Thank you in advance for your answers.
