I need some ideas for a school project for biology where I bring in some kind of food with either seaweed or seaweed ingredients, etc.
I don't want anything like sushi, i was thinking something more like food that people would consume on a usual teenage diet. Like cake. Ingredients that are easy to get, because I live in Germany and it's difficult to get a piece of seaweed over here, it would be better.

Thanks

I want to make a chocolate cake with white icing --either buttercream, wedding cake (the bakeries here call these cakes silver cakes), or cream cheese icing. Any good recipes? Thanks! Also, if you have a recipe for a moist chocolate or white cake, please share! Thanks again

Do I absolutely need a grill to make good bbq chicken? if not, how to make it in the oven?

How can I make a simple bbq sauce/marinade?

What is the secret to a perfectly roasted chicken? Is it moisture or lack thereof? Should I put something on the chicken and if so what?

Lots of questions! Thanks in advance.

I read this as one of the food items in a supposedly Italian Pizza joint. Few of the items offered in the menu are Roast Beef Cal Zone... Roast Chicken Cal zone....moked turkey cal zone..and so on. How do they differ from a Pizza? What ingredients go into it?

i can't seem to reach an agreement between whether it raises or lowers the boiling point of the water. if it raises the boiling point, it would take longer for it to boil, but would cook the pasta faster right? but i thought it lowered the boiling point so that it would take longer for the pasta to cook so that there's enough time for the water to seep in to the pasta. i'd like some answers from some good italian cooks too.

I've been wanting to make Teriyaki chicken at home for awhile now, like they make in all the little restaurants like Kobo Teriyaki, Happy Teriyaki, Toto's Teriyaki, etc. I bought some sauce at the grocery store and was very unhappy with it because it was a LOT more bitter than the stuff at the restaurants. I don't know what brand they use - and I hate to keep buying bottle after bottle trying to find the right stuff!

Anyone know?
