The problem with doing this with an oven is loss of moisture. The rice will tend to dry out the longer it is in the oven. What you might do is poach the calzone, which means putting it in aluminum foil with some water. The water boils and keeps the calzone from drying out. This is a very common way to poach fish, with butter rather than water, on a grill top... I do this with salmon frequently. You basically make a bag out of aluminum foil that is loosely sealed and is elevated off the food on top and sides. Put the aluminum bag onto a cookie sheet or other baking pan to provide support over that provided by an oven shelf. Add some herbs and garlic and other seasonings to the bag to enhance overall flavor.

me and my friend tried that, we cracked the egg into a ladel and just hung the ladel in the deep fat fryer, it was the nicest friend egg i ever had, :)
