Cibophobia- this is the phobia name for fear of food, but since Mashed Potatoes are a food it relates under that phobia.

Are you afraid of eating them or are you afraid of looking at mashed potatoes. That makes quite a difference

It is an extremely rare disorder, but it is called potnonomicaphobia. This is the fear of any type of potato product, but mostly mashed potatoes.

why would u be afraid of mashed potatoes? (they don't bite or hide under your bed! you can also make gravy volcanoes out of them!)
