The edible kind..haha...really!! I love sweets. But German chocolate it always a good way to go provided noone has an allergy to coconut. Chocolate Cheezecake or White Chocolate Raspberry Cheezecake..mmmm...K...I'm getting hungry...must remember diet!!!!!!! Hahahaha.
If you would like something a little more simple and easy to make a lot of, White Cake with Fudge frosting is always a winner. Not too sweet and most everyone likes it. Simple, fast, easy...win win!! But you can always go to google and look for Betty Crocker Recipes. That's a fail safe.

Try Red Velvet Cake. It has white frosting on the outside, but when you slice into it, it's a deep crimson red. Beautiful and delicious.
It's a traditional southern cake. Search www.allrecipes.com

I've never met a cake I didn't like, but I would have to say that my favorite is a plain white cake with vanilla frosting. If it's all homemade, that's a huge bonus.

I adore cake that is steamed in a Spring Form pan (like with a turbo-cooker)! I like chocolate mocha. You can use a regular cake mix and add a tablespoon or so of instant coffee, or use coffee instead of water.

I like torte cakes, real fruit topping on a yellow cake that is cooked in a form. My particular favorite is gooseberry. Topped with real whipped cream and drizzled with a vanilla sauce on the plate and I'm in heaven.

Well my opinion any cake is good but the frosting is what matters. The frosting has to be fluffy and tasty, because lets face it that is the most important part of the cake.
Happy eating.
