I have a huge stack of the laughing cow brand spreadable cheese (in original swiss flavour) that I have no clue what to do with. Can I substitute this cheese for cream cheese in recipes that require it (ie. such as in cheese cake)? Thank you for your help.

Is it OK to heat up a cup of water in the microwave? Some say that it makes the tea taste flat. Is this true?

My colors are red and white. The only flowers I have are red and white roses. I want a cake that is red, not bright red but a deeper red like a red rose. Thanks!

We decided on the spur of the moment to have a surprise birthday breakfast for our nephew. This will be bright and early, since rudely waking him up and rolling him out of the bed is part of the surprise....this means I need to have something already assembled and ready to pop in the oven.

Since I've never made breakfast casserole before, I would also like to have a recipe that is tried and true - preferably one that looks as appealing as it tastes. Does anyone have a good family recipe or know a reliable website for recipes like this?

Thanks for your help!

I want to make a slightly lemony bundt cake with slightly lemony glaze - I really don't have a problem using a cake mix but not sure how to do it. Any ideas? What if I just want a white or yellow bundt cake? can I use any mix for bundt cakes?

I'm going to a large-ish party tomorrow and have been asked to bring an appetizer. I love to cook and I have a gazillion appetizer recipes, but most of my best ones are hot. I have a hunch that my hostess will have other uses for her own oven than reheating my app's! So who has a great recipe, a little bit "elegant", meant to be served cold or room temperature, that's not too hard to bring along?

Best of all is a recipe where mayonnaise is not involved--I can't stand it. :)

Many thanks in advance!!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make an oreo milkshake (much like the delicious ones they serve at Uno Chicago Grill). I've tried a few times, but my concoction always comes out too... soupy, or too loose. How do I make mine thicker like the ones at Uno's?

What are some good recipes or tips of making a good, thoroughly-cooked hamburger? I am not talking about recipes with ground beef in them, like hamburger helper--I'm asking about actual burgers.

I have attempted to make burgers on our George Foreman Grill a few times, adding Lipton Onion mix, hamburger seasoning, green peps, etc. to each attempt, but none of those burgers turn out great, like the juicy, scrumptous burgers at some restaurants--what's the deal and what kind of advice & recipes can you provide?
