I have two 1/2-pound patties of ground lamb, but I'm not sure how to cook them. Should I fry them or steam them, and how long should they be on the heat? Thanks

LAMB PATTIES

1 lb. ground lamb
2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dill weed
1 egg
1 clove garlic, crushed
4 sliced bacon

Mix thoroughly meat, bread crumbs, parsley, salt, dill weed, egg and garlic. Shape mixture into 4 patties. Wrap bacon slice around edge of each patty, secure with wooden picks. Place patties on rack in broiler pan. Broiling time 15 minutes, turn once.

Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on both sides...a few drops of Worcester sauce on both sides...put them on the bbq pit over "indirect" heat for maybe 30 minutes. Should taste great. 45 minutes would be better for me. I like my meat cooked.

I would say fry them on medium heat for about 15 min. total
If you broil or grill them then it would be about 8-12 min.
