I have a huge stack of the laughing cow brand spreadable cheese (in original swiss flavour) that I have no clue what to do with. Can I substitute this cheese for cream cheese in recipes that require it (ie. such as in cheese cake)? Thank you for your help.

Since the general consensus is no, is there anything I can use it for? Such as using the cheese to make an alfredo sauce for fettucine? If anyone has any ideas/easy recipes, that would be a great help. Thank you.

No. And I don't think there is a cooking use for spreadable cheese. Just spread it on bread and make a sandwich, or on crackers and eat it.

im thinking the consistency and flavor wont be the same... but if you find a soft, milky cheese then maybe that can substitute for cream cheese
