My grandmama and father are the worst cooks/grillers ever. I've never told my grandma but I have told my father he sucks. He doesn't take the criticism well.

Anyways, My grandmama in particular has obviously been cooking for years. Isn't it about time she realizes that her cooking blows? IT IS SO BAD and everyone knows it. She has gotten people sick in the past from serving crap that is expired.

How can I motivate myself to spend a lot of time cooking a nice dinner for ony 2 of us, when eating frozen stuff is easier and usually cheaper?
We're trying to eat healthier, but I'm a beginning cook. Any good, easy recipe ideas?
Thanks :)

I bought the chicken yesterday at the upper class supermarket and on the package says expiration date not until three days later but when I wanted to cook today I found the chicken showed mucus or it kinda like wet slimy paint I smelled it but didn't smell bad at all, is the chicken still fresh if it shows that mucus? i have already cooked it for my baby meal and fed him but 2hours later he vomited I am so worry and wondering whether this is caused by the food i cook for him? how quick you can tell if you get food poisoning?

grilled and served in a flat bread with salad and lemony mint and yoghurt dressing,

or minced lamb with fresh rosemary, oregano and black pepper, made into meatballs served with a tomato sauce and spaghetti

Or shall I make a moussaka layered with the lamb mince, auberrine (eggplant) onions and thinly sliced potatoes covered in a white sauce then grated cheese and baked.

I've got 2lbs of best minced lamb...which recipe shall I do fro the above three only!!
