Very good question for this time of year!!! I like to stick to hot dogs, for one reason: that way I know that there will be no possible cross contamination when you're cooking raw burgers and hot dogs on the grill........Remote possibility, but I just want to make sure.........That's why I also have several mayonnaise free potato and pasta salad recipes.........they stay longer at room temperature without the worry of food poisoning........Enjoy and be safe!!!

Burgers ! Add some yummy Apple Coleslaw and you have a winner
Apple Coleslaw
1 sm Cabbage; thinly sliced
1 lg Apple; cubed
2 tb Sugar
1 ts Grated orange peel
1/8 ts Cinnamon
1/8 ts Cloves (if desired)
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Mayonnaise or Sour Cream
1 ts Lemon juice
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; toss lightly.

Burgers because I can't stand grilled hot dogs. They taste weird. Grilled pork links are better.

You gotta have both:its the 4th of July. I think more people like hamburgs but hot dogs are cheaper and easier to grill.

i could have the two too, you somewhat don't have one without the different. once I even have one without the different it may only be a Burger. i could have warm canines with cheese in buns, yet would not be precise for 4th of July. additionally, some human beings like one extra valuable than the different. My brother easily hates the two varieties of foodstuff and he's American. have exciting and stay risk-free!

Hello:
I have always liked grilled burgers because you can add whatever ingredients (condiments)that you want on your burgers such as mustard,ketchup,onions,pickles,etc... I fix a HUGE dinner for the Fourth of July and later on after dinner,we will have a really nice homemade dessert such as apple or cherry pie,or ice cream sandwiches or just ice cream with different toppings on it! ;-)

personally I like hot dogs better ince they don't take as long to eat when you enjoy all the fireworks.....
But here is a great idea get half the amount of burgers you were going to get and half of the hot dogs you were going to get and buy both
