How about a jambalaya? You can add pretty much any meat your family enjoys - sausage, chicken, shrimp, whatever - plus the base of the recipe is rice with tomatoes.

I would put you rice with tomatoes on the bottom of the baking dish and make this recipe.
CHILI POWDER BAKED PORK CHOPS
6-8 center cut pork chops
chili powder
salt & pepper
Wah the pork chops then salt and pepper both sides. Layer them in an oblong Pyrex or bakeware dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle the top side of the pork chops with Chili Powder. Cover securly with foil and bake 1 hour in 350°F oven.
I am just having jalapeno brats on the grill with a side not sure

You sound like you're in a gourmet rut, of sorts........you might try experimenting with other things, watching some Food TV cooking shows, see how the things that interest you are prepared then go to the website and copy the recipes and try your hand at making them......Gee, with as much as this planet has to offer us in a culinary sense, there is no way you should ever get bored in the kitchen.......EXPERIMENT!!! That's how great discoveries are made!! Enjoy, and let us know how you're getting along.........

I know the feeling of getting tired of your own cooking, so how about curry chicken to go with the rice.
boil curry, chopped garlic, fresh tyme, curry powder or paste, chicken bouillion, pepper until it boils. add chicken parts and cook until done. Not too much water or you won't get a nice gravy. It's quick and easy. Serve over rice with a fresh salad.
You could also use ground turkey, chopped bell peppers and onions, garlic, season salt pepper, and crushed red peppers sauteed until done. Mix with the rice. Yum, yum

Yes! I am so tired of everything I make. I am having Pizza Hut tonight! I have no idea with the rice. Why did you put tomatoes in it? I have never heard of that. Good luck

yes I get sick of my own cooking too. That rice sounds good. Another thing you could do is fried rice-- soysauce and veggies/meat fried in the pan.
good luck!!
