Boil it in water for about 10 minutes. Make sure you add some salt and garlic to the water before you put the soy beans in it to give the Edamame some flavor. Cook till it is the texture that you desire. Place in collander to cool . Mix half a cup of soy sauce and half a cup of Mirin(sweet rice wine) and 2 teaspoon sugar together. When cool, place Edamame into large ziploc or bowl. Pour sauce over and place in ice box for about an hour to soak. Ziploc seems to work the easiest. Just squeeze the air out and lay it flat. Then half an hour later just flip the bag over. It should be evenly soaked. Enjoy. I just made these last nite!

Put it beside the salad :D

What is edamame anyways?

EDIT:
I now know what it is :D
You could mix it with rice... let it steam along with some other greens (e.g. parsley!) and basmati rice...
Or add it to ur stews...

Some people eat it like peas... heat them up and use as a sidedish. You could probably search on foodnetwork.com and find a billion and one ways to cook with them.
