Hi, I have tried to make crepes with different batter recipes, and using oil and butter, but i havent had success with the texture. I can get good flavor, but i dont get the spongy, soft texture of the crepes i have tried, like a thin hot cake. Any advices?

I have some leftover ham from dinner the other night and I would just hate to throw it away. Does anyone have a quick and easy recipe? Maybe for a soup, since it is rainy and cold in my neck of the woods. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

p.s. I want to use the ham tonight.

My crazy co-worker sems to think this is a good idea. Has anyone ever tried this, heard of it, or tasted it? I have boldly told everyone in the office that no one on earth would be crazy enough to actually try this. And yes, actual potatoes- not sweet potatoes!

I froze some leftover soups, about 4-5 cups of each. I want to reheat the chili, the potato soup, and the cheeseburger soup for supper tonight. The microwave isn't great for this since it thaws around the outside and then I worry about the containers (the ziploc and gladware type) being burned. Plus it takes an age or so. What better ways do you know to reheat frozen soup?

My main dish is Polynesian Pork (pork with a glaze consiting of soy sause, liquid smoke, crushed pineapple, lemon and orange zest). I'm looking to find a good appetizer and desert to compliment the dish. I'm thinking I might use a type of Green salad and bread pudding, but it seems a tad plain. Does any one have any suggestions of how to spice those up, or a new idea that goes with this dish?

In science class my partner and I are trying to figure out if the order of ingredients affect the outcome of a regular chocolate chip cookie recipe. We will first bake a batch from the instructions and then reverse the order for the second batch. If you have any info on anything related to this we would really appreciate it!

When I cook something, it tends to stick to the side and bits burn on and I can't get them off without scrubbing and ruining the seasoning I put on so carefully. I heat it and put in water as suggested to soften, but its still covered in burnt bits. Other times the food doesn't seem to fry, more of a boil from the moisture from the food. What am I doing wrong? I have a 14" carbon steel wok. I season it with kosher salt.
