I've eaten steak tartare many times in the past, but is it safe to prepare steak tartare at home using meat from British farms? My first instinct says that it is not, but I was wondering if anyone had any other opinions.

I ran out of cream of chicken soup and want to make a chicken and rice casserole. I do not want to go out to get the soup as it is snowing and blowing pretty hard outside. Any suggestions? Thanks. :)

can you mix ham with spagetti and tomato and basil sauce? I have to get rid of the left over ham, so if ham and spegetti doesn't work, can you give me some recipes that could get rid of the ham, and ham sandwiches don't count, i need something a little challenging

Thanks

I've never really done "real" cooking- I don't eat meat, but now that I am married and my husband LOVES the stuff, I need to learn how to cook it. I've been looking at recipes and I don't even know what half the ingredients are (Or where to find them in a grocery store!) Not to mention I don't know any real cooking terms- I've always made casseroles, pasta, sandwiches, etc. Give me some tips, reallly any information about cooking, I need HELP!

My French cousin is coming to stay soon. I haven't seen him in years and would like to extend my hospitality to him.
I know the French consider Horse a delicacy, and have acquired a small one which I intend to slaughter and cook up for him. Trouble is I am having trouble finding any recipes. Can anyone offer any tips on how I can prepare Horse, to make tasty dishes which will impress him ? Thanks.

I really need help trying to get my digestive system back to normal. I don't trust conventional doctors becuz all they want to do is fix problems with drugs. I really want to be able to 'heal' myself using natural alternatives such as healthy foods, exercise and if needed herbs and/or supplements only. No drugs. Don't get me wrong, conventional doctors have their place - they are good for saving lives.

First off, I'm a 22 year old married woman with no ideas for mealtime. I am a decent cook, so that's not the problem. The problem is, when it comes to dinner time and making a meal, I can't think of anything to make. I cook spaghetti so often, that my husband and I are tired of it. We grill chicken sometimes on the weekend on the outside grill and order pizza hut a LOT. We make tuna sandwhiches, and that's about it. The only sides I can think to make are greenbeans and corn... and greenbeans and corn...

I seriously need help here. What would be your normal, average meals throughout the week? Maybe even a few recipes of your normal, easy dishes.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Since I just moved from NY to VA, I haven't really done a lot of food shopping yet. Porkchops seem to be the only meat in the freezer and I don't know any good recipes aside the breaded and fried one along with the chops baked in beer. Since I'm out of breadcrumbs (can't fry 'em) and I'm out of beer (can't bake em in it) I don't know what else to make? I'd appreciate full recipes. Thanks in advance.

The recipes I have found start off by using canned beans. That is NOT what I want. I want to use the dry beans that come in a bag at the grocery store.

Thanks!

No spaghetti, meatloaf or tacos. Something different that will fill up a 21 yr. old boyfriend. He's a hungry man. I'm an awesome cook so it doesn't have to be easy.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
