I have an easy recipe.
Bring water to boil and add the amount of asparagus you would like to eat, let it boil for 2min. only, then strain the asparagus and toss the asparagus in some Olive oil and shredded Parmesan cheese and serve. When I have people over they enjoy this easy recipe.

Cut clean fresh asparagus into 2" pieces.
Slice up fresh portobello or button mushrooms.
Finely slice two scallions (green onions).
Crumble 8 slices of bacon.
Put all of this into a microwaveable bowl and wave for 8 minutes or until the vegies are soft and the bacon is semi crisp.
Remove from wave and top with crumbled bleu cheese and serve warm.
A crowd pleaser every time!!! Enjoy!

I steam mine for about 7-8 minutes with a lid on. And then serve it with hollandaise. 3 yolks, 1 Tbsp lemon juice 1 stick of butter over low heat and whisk constantly until thick.

I love asparagus!

Steam for 12-14 minutes (time will vary, I like mine bright green and still snappy. Not mushy) or bake evenly spread on a cookie sheet with a drizzling of olive oil.

I always saute asparagus with a little bit of oil and salt and pepper. My family loves it. It usually takes about 10 min to saute, but it depends on how soft you like it.

Sautee or bake with a bit of olive oil and serve with hollandaise or cheese sauce if you feel compelled to add something to it.
