I am single and live alone. I want to stop eating fast food every day at lunch. I want to cook food, freeze it, and bring it to work. I need some recipes that are still good after they are frozen and thawed out in the microwave. Any ideas?

Some recipes that I want to try call for frozen lemonade or limeade concentrate. I live in the UK and cannot find this. What would be a good substitute or can this be made from scratch?

If I make dry burritos and put shredded lettuce on them - can I put them in the freezer?? Or do I have to freeze them without the lettuce and just add the lettuce everytime we eat them.

We're having a Philly-themed dinner this week (used to live there) and I'm having trouble thinking of a dessert. I live in Iowa now, so it's not like I can go to Rita's and grab a bunch of water ice (which would totally be my preference). My only other thought is cheesecake. Anyone else got any ideas/recipes?

Thanks!

FYI, the rest of the meal is crab fries and cheesesteak (obvs).

Our family eats alot of sautéed mushroom and onions. Once weekly I will saute a bowl full and keep in fridge to use as need. Do you keep something like this on hand to make it easier to cook in the evening?

Or perhaps I mean advanced cooking skills! Can anyone recommend a book/website or simply some basic advice in cooking with spices etc? It's one thing to follow a recipe - and I've cautiously invented some dishes on my own - but it would be nice to have a better idea of "food science", ie. what goes with what, how much do I need to put in, instead of just blindly following a recipe book.

I know it is made with ice cream which you put in the oven for a short while and the ice cream does not mellt. You also pour brandy over the top and set fire to the top.
