Have you ever had hamburger soup? It is great you will need 4 cans of beef broth, a green pepper, a red onion, mushrooms can or fresh, and a large can of crushed tomatoes. And a box of macaroni.Frizzle up the hamburg with the vegetables.Put the beef broth and the crushed tomatoes in a big boiling pan and add the hamburg and vegetables cook for a bit, Then you can boil up some macaroni about 1/2 the box(1lb box) when 2/3done drain and add to the soup.UMMMMMM Real good i love this stuff.

Brown the ground beef, and add about 1 tbsp flour in with the meat, DO not drain the meat. Then add in one can of mixed veggies. Place this in a pie plate or casserole dish, top in already made instant mashed potatoes. Then with shredded cheese and bake on 375 for 20 minutes. Easy Sheppards Pie!

Chili and serve as frito pies. I make a really good soup I call taco or mexican soup. You cook the meat like your gonna make tacos and put it aside. You take I package of Lipton taco rice and make according to directions. In a big pot put diced tomatoes (canned so you can use the juice), a large can of tomatoe sauce, a whole onion (chopped) and several cloves of garlic. Add frozen mixed veggies (corn, peas, green beans and carrots) Put the meat and rice in and bring to a boil. While boiling add a little cumin, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Cook for about 20-30 mins and serve.

Here you go:
You need:
The beef
Some tortilla chips - crushed - so old stale chips would work
Some shreaded cheese
Enchilada sauce.
Get a 9x13 pan
spray it with non-stick stuff or you can smear butter.
Cook the beef in a frying pan.
layer the pan with the cooked beef, chips (crumpled), and sauce. Start with beef. Top with cheese.
Cook at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.

I made Paula Deen's Shepard's Pie recipe from the Food Network website, it was awesome. The bottom layer is mashed potatoes, the middle is the meat/veggies, and the top is a bisquit mix. 100% comfort food.
You could fire up the crockpot and make a big pot of chili.
Or if you have some time on your hands, how about stuffed cabbage?

Shepards Pie is a favorite of my boyfriends. . .Or you could get some fresh dough and make empanadas! I have never made them myself, but I have a co-worker who brought in some home made ones a few times, and they were so yummy! It's like a flaky dough and the inside has ground beef with little pieces of onion, and seasonings. I'm sure there are loads of recipes online, and that would be nice served with some rice, or beans and a salad!
