It seems that eggs are taking longer to boil now than they took fifty years ago. Used to be 3 minutes, now anything over 6. How long does it take in your locality ? Are eggs different in different parts of the world ?

First I want to say thank you to this community. I have gotten some terrific answers to my questions. Yes, there are a lot of idiots out there, but my experience with sincere questions is reasonable responses. Here goes; I recently had Onion soup prepared with bouillion that was made from roasted chicken. It is restaurant quality and they carry a beef one too. Most bouillions are nothing but salt and a little fake flavor. This one was excellent. Does anyone know the name of this? I'd like to order some. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to make a cake for a coworkers birthday. When asked what her favorite cake was she said it was Vanilla cake with choclate frosting and pudding in between the cake layers. Have you ever heard of this? I'm not sure how to go about pudding filling?

You know how you can buy those apple peelers, where you just turn a handle and the skin comes off? Is there something like this I can buy for potatoes? I like making potato dishes, but hate peeling potatoes! Thanks for your advice!! :)

Hi, I'm a great fan of Food Network but the Award Show was a flop. It was boring and the awards should have been going to the best Chef's not companies we have never heard of. We need more intertainment and let the winners come up on stage and make a speech . The show should be at least three hrs . instead of an hr. & a half.

As a parent with 2 children a great morning time saver for me are the pancakes you buy in the frozen section and pop them in the toaster. My kids love them! On the weekend we made some homemade pancakes and it occured to me....can I make fresh pancakes, freeze them and toast them like I would the ready made store bought ones? It would be very cost effective since mix is very cheap.

Has anybody done this in the past?

I have decided it's time to eat better and am trying to eat foods as natural as possible (non-processed) but am having troubles finding recipe's for them.. I have done a search for organic recipe's, but these still tend to use high processed foods such as sugars, and flour etc.. Can anyone recomend a good site or cookbook to me that only deals with non-processed or as close to recipe ideas?? Many Thanks! :)
