Of course you can. put some sausages in as well in a casserole dish and do slowly for an hour or two...delicious.

Yes it will make a lovely casserole. It has a different texture to liver that has been fried with onions and bacon and makes a rather different meal.The liver is much softer and tends to crumble, whereas frying can make it a bit hard sometimes. As the casserole would have contained some water and possibly something like bisto The resulting gravy is delicious. nice and thick and absolutely scrummy.I usually add a couple of bacon rashers for added flavour.My favourite would be liver and bacon casserole,mashed potato,garden peas.Makes my mouth water just thinking of it.

Yes you can, but i'd recommend browning them in a pan with some butter and seasoning first. This will make the texture and colour of the liver much better when cooked through.

Yes you can , try this too, add small amount of olive oil to onions , let onions become gold, add big pieces of liver , wait till all the water is out , add salt and pepper. it is tasty.

That's how I do mine. Get it started on the hob. I.E. Brown the onions and the meat, add the liquid and once it is boiling put it in the oven.
