Hi, I'm a great fan of Food Network but the Award Show was a flop. It was boring and the awards should have been going to the best Chef's not companies we have never heard of. We need more intertainment and let the winners come up on stage and make a speech . The show should be at least three hrs . instead of an hr. & a half.

I don't agree. I think 1 1/2 hours was good for the 1st time out. The POINT was to expose us "Foodies" to all that is out there, not just what we see on TV or read in Food magazines. So pleased I didn't have to listen to long winded speeches.
It was only slightly boring, the rest was very interesting. The companies that got nominated are now if for an exciting year. I have already looked up several of the products(La Loos Goat milk Ice Cream) so I can find them locally.
Good job FOOD NETWORK!

Dang! I missed it! I love food network too and was curious about this awards show. But it sounds like I didn't miss much. That is disappointing.

I watched them and I agree with you. I really was expecting something better. Hopefully next year they'll be something better.
