Marriage & Divorce - 20 December 2007

I posted a question a moment ago and a number of answers were affair... and i as well have had this thought. He shows no emotions about me nor his daughter. I just called him to tell him something that his mother wanted him to know (nothing pertaining to him and i) and when i was getting off the phone he said bye i said i love you and in the same tone he said bye again. no emotion.

i think i have done all i can and i think it will take an act of God to help us... so I know you people dont know me personally but i really need prayers... please pray that if he is cheating that his coincience will catch him, that if he isnt then that his heart of stone will soften and he will see that his family is more important then to just be let go. pray that i may have the strength and wisdom to carry on with or without him through whatever happens. And that i will know what to do next to help my daughter and i and hopefully my family.

Dealing with the holidays has me completely depressed. It is my first Christmas that I have to share the kids with the ex. I don't know how any other mothers out there deal or dealt with this, but I feel horrible. The closer it gets to Christmas, the worse it is for me. I feel like crying all day long, and I know that sounds crazy, but it is just really effecting me horribly. I have a great boyfriend who I love so much, and even he can't get me out of this thought process. Am I the only one feeling or felt like this? I am hoping this will end after the holidays, because if it doesn't, I know that I am going to have to talk to a professional.

Follow-up the all the other questions i ask about wife maybe cheating online more............. If anyone can figure this one out i would be very greatfull................ for the past 5 years, any time i try to ineceiate sex with my wife she fills obligated and presured and is not really into it and just seems do it to fullfill a duty its seems. But for some reason, if i turn her down when she does try to iniceate sex with me, she gets upset with me. This is so strange. OK.. HERE IS THE WORST.. About 4 years ago the sex was VERY GOOD but to my knowledge i found out she was seeing another man at the sametime so i think i was getting the left over fire or guilt she had. So now i think when she does make the effert to really make sex very good, i think she is still cheating, and thats may be why she only wants it to be her who iniceates it on her terms and gets mad when i try to inicetae sex. My soon to be ex husband left me 3 1/2 months pregnant, cheated on me three times during our marriage and then tried to get back together with me and I almost gave in, but then I realized that he did it 3 times of course if I gave in He'd do it to me over and over again without caring about my feelings. I quit talking to him after I started our divorce and he agreed to talk to my mother for my son's info. Ok, so this woman is married, has 2 kids in their late teens, and a husband she's been married to for around 18 years or so.

According to her, there is nothing left of the marriage. They don't fight, they don't have sex for the past ten years or so, they have ended up more like brother and sister, or just good friends. They run the house together, they take care of the kids together, the home seems to be stable and caring, and the kids are turning out really great as far as I can see (and everyone who knows them says that too).

But, there is no "in love" going on with each other, and they are planning on ending the marriage when the kids are grown. They both agree.

The wife became involved with a man online five years ago and they spend hours every day together online or on the phone when the husband and kids aren't home. They plan to marry even though they have never been together in person, after her kids are grown.

Do you think this woman is wrong, and is cheating?

I want to leave my wife becasue she is verbally abuse sometimes like callign me stupid and talking to me is like talking to a person who is metally disabled. Since then step son has calle dme stupid when i made him breakfast and he didnt like it. I stay at home with the 3 kids all day. When she gets home she sits down on the computer usually for a while and then starts complaining that this isnt done and that isnt done. In the past 6 months i think she has gotten off her but to bath the kids once. I have to put them to bed everynight as one of our boys needs someone to lay down with him for a while. I make dinner about half of the time. When it comes to the weekend she sleeps till noon jsut in time to get up before kids go to nap time. Two of our boys are in diapers and she has changed one diaper in liek the past 2 months. I have talked to her and nothing changes. I am lost and i really want to mov closer to my dad who is getting older and sicker. I dont know what to do?

and both parties then marry another it will last more yrs. It is strange in some kind of way. The 1st time around it seams if they make it more than 10 yrs it is remarkable let alone 30 or even lord be with them 40yrs. Young couples just don't stay hitched more than say 10 yrs the 1st time out yet they remarry and it last for the most part a life time why is that. They still have kids and all, they have to deal with the X's , Why if the 2nd time can work couldn't the 1st time around?

I've notice this a lot. Why do people tend to wanna give you a vote of confidence when it comes to finding love and relationships?

Even in this tremendously-screwed up! enviornement we live today-when it come to both of those things. From the excessive amounts of cheating. Broken vows and the corruption of relationship and personal integrity. Peopel always wanna give you a chin up, you'll find that someone. . . why? In particular when your young, I'm 21.

Especially if you know what other people are doing when it comes to shady-just wrong behavior.

Why do people always like giving relationship and love confidence? Especially when things are so screwed up?

Married in georgia 6 years
Husband currently deployed
Husband decided he wants out of the marriage.
Says he fell out of love with me.

I am stay at home mother to 1 1/2 year old child.
I have always worked before and during our marriage.
I only quit to care for our baby.
I also quit another job to follow him on deployment.

He currently reenlisted for 6 years without telling me.
He gets back in 3 months.

What are my options?
What can I ask for from him?
What might I be able to get?

He just received a $12,000 reenlistment bonus...
am I entitled to any of that -- seeing how its currently in our account and we are technically not divorced yet?

What wouldbe the result in your best guess?

I want to go to computer school, and I dont mind getting a job
Ive always worked.
DOES HE HAVE TO HELP ME GET BACK ON MY FEET

or is it once the divorce is final, Im completely tossed aside?

How do you divorce from an unhealthy relationship when you are still so in love with your husband. He cheated on me a year ago and we worked through that but he has this cyber sex addiction and i consider that cheating as well. He wont stop he even did it while i was in labor with out daughter...do i just reserve myself to live with this or do i leave? the problem is i feel like he is looking to cheat again...But he is such a good husband in every other way and an amazing father to our 4month old....i don't know what to do. I'm Middle Eastern and my bf is Mexican. We have been together for 4 years and my family still doesn't even know he exists. I not only know his family, but i've even been introduced to his extended family. he's 27 and I'm 24 and we want to get married in a couple years.
