Giving people confidence when it come to relationship. . . Why?

I've notice this a lot. Why do people tend to wanna give you a vote of confidence when it comes to finding love and relationships?

Even in this tremendously-screwed up! enviornement we live today-when it come to both of those things. From the excessive amounts of cheating. Broken vows and the corruption of relationship and personal integrity. Peopel always wanna give you a chin up, you'll find that someone. . . why? In particular when your young, I'm 21.

Especially if you know what other people are doing when it comes to shady-just wrong behavior.

Why do people always like giving relationship and love confidence? Especially when things are so screwed up?

Just curious. . .

I CONSIDER MYSELF A REALIST/CYNIC. SO I GUESS I FIND IT KIND OF WEIRD THE WAY PEOPLE ALWAYS WANNA GIVE CONFIDENCE. . .

EVEN IF THEIR THE CHEATERS OR ALL THE THINGS I MENTIONED.

How sad it must be to choose to live without hope.Many people dare to dream for something better in their lives and will work towards making that dream a reality.There were many people who thought man couldn't fly but man has found a way.Man can not only fly across continents he can land on the moon.Many people thought never thought that some diseases could be cured and that the person was doomed.Research has made our lives healthier.Even with diseases such as cancer man has not given up and continues to search for a cure.Smallpox, chickenpox and measles are basically eradicated through vacination.Transplants,medical technology and research have been used to change lives.Why would you think all relationships are doomed to failure? Have you heard of a self fulfilling prophecy? No one ever started a journey without taking that first step.Life is full of unknowns and risks.Life is full of people who say it can't be done.I could tell you to stay at homealone and you will never be disappointed in life but that wouldn't be the truth either.I just want to let you know not everyone is a relationship statistic.Well maybe I am, I'm in a successful relationship ,married foralmost 33 years.It takes love, patience, give and take to make things work.I hope someday you will find the courage to take that leap of faith and go out and meet others.You don't need to be looking for a relationship,just meet people and see how it goes.I am all for love ,marriage( or a commonlaw relationship),family and values.Life is simply much better when you have someone to share your joys with and someone to help you through the bad times.It's up to you what type of life want.Take care.

i guess because they are optimists and they try to see the good in everything which is not a bad thing but some people just can't do that. they want to see the reality of it. i'm more of a reality person but i realize that if it wasn't for those people who look at the bright side, i would be a very unhappy depressed human being!

I guess it's because we all hope to find "that someone". Society as a rule, in my opinion, has this unwritten message that if you're single, there MUST be something wrong with you. Like in my case, you're an attractive, funny, reasonably successful lady, so where's your husband???? I guess no one wants to be the odd man out, so when talking to another person, they extend the same wishes they apply to themselves.
