Thank god a girl who is honest I had wondered that for years and this is what I came up with?
When a man cheats sex is sex,,,, sex is seperated from real feelings it is an act. That is why you find many men who have a mistress for years and then the mother of the kids to have children.
Anyway women for us sex is feelings emotions most of the time if you get us in bed it is because we really like you.
And men are not stupid they know that!
Your a smart girl I don't know how old you are but your smart to have figured that out.
Most women just keep going through life thinking there man would never cause he loves them!

I do not know why but there is always has been a double standard whereas man can sow his seed in whatever field he desires it but a woman can harrow her field for one man only.
Forgiveness ios a two way road. The idea of being forgiven means you are forgiven for that moment and not to do it again , that is the infidelity or the trust has been broken. Whoever party is doing it is wrong but until we break out of the patriarchal mode of society the woman will be more castigated .

This is not being fair to the guys. I for one have known a few who have forgiven the women they were with and stayed in the relationship. It works both ways. So if you do not want to take the risk of being with a guy who does not forgive or a gal who does not forgive don't be a cheat.

I agree with a lot of people saying that yea there's a huge age gap but this is a guy that goes to strip clubs often. Sounds like a keeper. And I would never ever date a guy that old. There are guys out there who are 19-25 who are way nicer and sweeter and don't go to strip clubs. Not trying to tell you what to do, just saying that if it was me I'd be looking at the fact that this guy comes to a strip club often and he wants to have a relationship with a 19 year old that works at a strip club. Sounds like he just wants sex.

My problem is with the first word of your question...."Men." True men don't do that. They don't have double standards and shouldn't cheat (although they do). As a man, I try my best not to have any double standards. I have always taken issue with any man who portrays the most idiotic double standard of all. The man who wants his wife to give him a threesome with two women, but would go ballistic if she asked him for one with two men. If you are going to venture into that then I say you have to be man enough to allow it both ways.

I think the double standard is just in words. Men who cheat are no better than women that cheat.

It's not a double standard, really. I FULLY expect my wife to leave me if I cheated on her. Or I'd have to walk, becasue I wouldn't really be intrested in paying for it the rest of my life.

Leaving someone is about wanting to leave. Any excuse works. If you don't want to leave, then you will forgive the cheater. Women tend to not leave if they are a "dependent" type. If strong and self sustain, they will leave as often as a man. Men live because there self image as a macho, @#$% type of guy makes them leave, but are those kind of guys worth keeping?

I don't know but it's not fair. Most men would be highly pissed if their wife or girlfriend cheated on them but when they do it, most of them want to be forgiven! It's such a double standard.
However, I don't forgive cheaters period.. so any man that tried that on me got kicked to the curb.

it always goes down to being a macho and egoistic male if thats the case,some of us are like that,they want to cheat as much with different woman as possible and brag about it,but if they got cheated its like they are being stabbed with a bladed weapon innocently,it all depends on the man, real man doesnt cheat,they show respect towards woman and treasure them if possible, cause woman are the image of there mother and they need to be respected and adored,
