No. People with OCD can get married too. There is someone out there for everyone and that special person will love them for them no matter what.

most of these ppl wont give you the right answer like your faith anit strong enough or you should just believe without question no matter what happens to you. i think he's either oversleeping or took a really long holiday and has a broken automated blessings machine or something like that. I mean what other reason would there be for complete A- holes to have such great life's. You might as well stick with being a christian its unlikely anything will change either way unless demons start coming out the ground at least that way everyone will be screwed finally world wide equality and maybe god will come and save everyone

The problem here isn't that the person with OCD would bug the other person, but that the other person would cause severe anxiety in the person with OCD. Unless controlled with therapy and drugs, OCD is a life-consuming problem. The sufferer would constantly have to do a redo things around the house that the non-sufferer was doing. Also, they wouldn't want to go out and do as many things, and they'd probably be a burden.

A person with OCD needs to get help, and not let it take over their life to the extent that it decides for them whether or not they can be married. I've had ROCD since my first relationship and was convinced I could never get married, but I met and fell in love with the most loving and understanding man and am very happily married. Telling him I had OCD after being friends for four years didn't change the feelings he'd actually had for me for years. I had been his dream girl, which I was convinced would change once he knew the struggle relationships were for me. But he fought damn hard for me, and with me, while I was getting as much help as I could, and never once gave up on me. You just need the right person, who is compassionate, understanding and maybe a little tough with you to help you change, and to address the issue properly, naturally, and it is possible!

I have OCD, and I would have to say that over the past 10 years of my life, I am 28, it has considerably gotten worse. Marriage is a union, for better or worse, just find somebody that is willing to understand how you feel. Someone who will respect you and give you time to do your checklists, rechecking. Its not impossible, if someone is will you for the right reason, they will look over the problem and just love you.

The easy answer would be yes the OCD people should not get married. They will honestly drive a partner crazy because they check and repeat everything so many times. People without OCD just don't understand and you can't get them to just stop this annoying behavior either.

Depends on what you compulsion is. If its to constantly scratch your privates well I couldn't live with that, I'd be embarassed. If it was to clean, well that might not be a bad thing. There is someone for everyone.
