I finaly got a victory and I learned something .When dealing with men , sometimes sinking to their level is the eye opener they really need .

example:

My hunnies thinks he's my God and Master bcuz I let him feel that big, but when he decides he's gonna take away the money and laptop he gave me, I decided to show him whats REALLY going on here. I gave him back his ring and turned around and told him that EVERYTHING I gave and bought him will be at Goodwill when he gets home form work . Turns out , I actually gave him more than he had given me . All his clothes, shoes, socks and underwear , and much more ! I took it all back .

I told him go ahead and take your money back from me, your gonna need it to by more clothes !

I never seen him change his attitude so fast !

All because I gave him just a taste of is own medicine !

please share with me your personal victory story : )

I think it would be nice for him to meet my husband's girlfriend and my boyfriends, and all their kids. I also want to reassure him that mom and dad love each other very much, and I don't want him to worry. Our marriage has always been open.

I went out drinking last night. Usually if I drink, I drink at home and I don't go overboard. Last night when I came home, my wife asked why I was out so late... I wasn't thinking clearly and I smacked her across the face and onto the couch.

I have NEVER hit her before and she is scared. She went to her sisters. I don't want to lose her over this. I have never raised my hand to her before. What can I do? I felt bad immediately, but my apologies were not enough. Please I need advice.

When a mother is awarded full custody of a child does the state automatically go for child support against the father or is it the mothers decision to get child support? I live in ct. and she wants full custody of our son. Can she go for just custody alone without me having to pay support through the court? Ladies, please dont jump to conclusions and judge me. I am a good father and I pay for him its just a question. Thanks

My husband and I have been having issues lately and he's begun to throw things at me. First it was a peice of pizza after I turned away from an argument, then (we run a cafe on the weekends) he screams in front of all of our customers that I'm a F***ing B***h, the next weekend he threw a plate of hash browns and hit me in the back of the head, again in front of all our customers. I just don't know what to do, we're under a lot of stress right now, we have four daughters, two of whom are disabled and one who isn't doing well, so there's a major source of stress. Having explained the stress, he swears he would never throw anything that would hurt me (we're obviously omitting the PLATE!) and that he knew what he was doing. So to me that says he consciously made the decision to throw something at the back of my head and it scares me. If he did it out of anger and didn't think about it then what's next? I just don't know what to do, any suggestions would be helpful.

me and my husband are filing for a divorce. We have 2 kids together. I made an appointment to file for child custody and child support, my husband said that his lawyer told him that if i were to file for child support that he would have to pay 800 dollars a month. He said that theres a way where we can come to a mutual agreement about the kids. My husband asked me if i would agree to the kids living with me and leaving the custody "open" that way he can see the kids whenever he wanted. I dont mind that, i never planned on taking the kids from him and i told him that he could see the kids whenever he wanted. He also wanted to know if i would agree to 100 dollars a week instead of taking him to court for child support. My question is should i agree to that?? Because at first it didnt sit with me right cuz i didnt think there was such thing as "open custody". I just wanna be sure hes not trying to screw me over. Any advice??

I have a friend who is married and sleeping around on his wife with a couple of women. One of them is around his age and the other one is underage. She is 16! They are about 11 yrs apart. I know Ive been told I have an obligation to protect her since she is young and naive but then again do I want to make it my business? I would hate to see him go to jail but I feel like this is gonna creep up on him and bite him in the A$$. He will go to jail and lose his wife. Does he just need to learn his own lesson? Or what should I do?

Me and my husband have been married for alittle over 2 yrs and 4 mo. ago he told me he no longer was in love with me then started going out all hours i begged him to compromise or i'd go to my mothers so he could figure out what he wanted from me and i would wait for him to tell me to come home he didnt want to but wanted me to stay i made the decition to go 2 wks later i came back because i found out he started talking to some b****from work after threats of leaving him 5 he finally seems to have stopped (oh and threats to the girl) he swears they were just friends yet she said she loved him. he would come home and inniciate sex with me though. after the last time i found out I told him I was misserable knowing he was still talking to her and i couldnt live like that we switched numbers and she changed hers. her last words to me were he doesnt want me and no matter what he wont leave me or let me leave he convinces me to stay. we have a son and i love him so much

I am very much in love. He wants to marry me. I have reasearched bipolar disorder, but still worry about our future. He has accumulated debts, poor hygiene, bad time management, and on occassion seems distant. Through baby steps I have seen great improvement, but my family and friends worry about me. I worry about him. I want to marry this man but get little support. I am not asking whether I should marry him, but want to know about people who are married. How do you make it work? When does it get hard? Have you noticed any difference in your marriage when compared to others?

Ok I have finally decided to go through with the divorce. Here is a quick note of how I got to this point.

All of the signs are there that she does not want to be married to me. She says she is confused and doesn't know what she wants. She says I am the love of her life, but she does not feel that she is good enough to be my wife. I have never said anything like that and I have been working for the past 12 months to fix our marriage. I even quit my road warrior job for a lower paying job so I don't have to travel.

Anyway when I ask her what she want's to do she says she doesn't know. But if I say then I want a divorce, she says ok if that is what you want. So the signs for me is that she wants me to be the one who does the divorce. Fine I take full responsiblity.

But now she is upset that I don't want to be her friend after the divorce. I don't know what to think. Oh we don't have any kids so there is really no reason to be friends afterwords.

What do you guys think?

I broke up with my fiance after he slept with my best friend 2 years ago.
I broke my relationship with my best friend too. You can imagine what I've been through .
Now just a couple of days ago, I ran into my ex fiance and my ex best friend together at the grocery store and they're pregnant. I saw rings on their fingers so I guess they got married. The conversation was brief and awkward. I just acted like I'm happy and asked how they are and they faked their smile too and we continued shopping.
I'm so depressed and still single. My ex fiance still looked handsome (and I thought he would look messed up but he actually looked better!)
How do I move on?

Okay, this question may sound stupid, I admit. I am very attracted to my husband. He is a wonderful person inside and very physically attractive in my eyes.

They say "you need to stroke a man's ego". I love complimenting my husband. I tell him how attractive and adorable he is. Also I tell him he's very smart and other things on occasion.

However, sometimes words are not enough to describe how I feel. Is there another word that doesn't sound corny to men that describes "how beautiful" a person is? "Handsome" sounds old fashioned and corny.

Do you have suggestions on other descriptive words? For men, what does your woman say to you that helps you feel like you are the most important person in her life?

I'm not talking about me---we're quite happy---but a mate of mine is now not happy with her man, meanwhile he was a dork before the kid, why do people think a kid would change a person that much?!

My husband and his ex wife were divorced 7 years ago. She has never given him a problem with visitation or money matters (and, yes, he pays his child support on time and in full) until he recently married me. We have been together for 7 months and married three of those months. We have not seen the children in 7 weeks because she is using them as leverage to get more money. We have hired a lawyer and she is being found in contempt. She says that she has talked to a lawyer and he told her that she could get a percentage of my income and tax returns. My husband IS NOT behind on child support. Our lawyer says that there is no way she can get my income. Let me know what you think.

well i am a 29 year old mother to 3 little girls. me and my husband have been together 10 yrs now. we havent gotten along that well in all that time, but i later found out i have bipolar and have done pretty well this year on my meds. i feel alot closer to him now then ever. hes always been really clingy to me, but recently this year, it seems i became better and hes always yelling and screaming and losing his temper over nothing lately. even with the kids to. am i wrong to think he may be cheating or thiking about it ?? hes so distant now, and i see no reason for him to be this way, especially when things have been going so well. were both in therapy and hes not getting anywhere with it. seems it doesnt even help him. im just looking for opinions i guess, thanks to all in advance.

I'm a husband that has an addiction to porn. I slipped after 6 months of therapy and being good, and really need her forgiveness so we can move on. I know I've deeply hurt her. To her it's like I've cheated. I know I'm responsible. I know I suck - I just need some help to win her back. I'm going to quit, but those that have overcome addictions know how hard it can be, especially when you are really trying to find your personality failings - why I went to porn in the first place.

I really need her support to recover. I know she really needs some support to recover from what I've done. I want to help where I can.

Actions speak louder that words, but what actions can you do for someone who doesn't even want to talk to you anymore?

Any ideas from people who've had to forgive their husbands for similar things?
