This question is only for married people.

Have you ever had an internet affair, and if so, how did it turn out?

He ridicules me and my opinions, ridicules anyone with beliefs different than his, loves guns, hates minorities, complains about everything, always is "in pain", prioritizes with his own interests (his career, his parents, his hobbies, his friends) in mind. He was spoiled as a child and I think his parents reinforced the whole "you are perfect because thats how God made you..." attitude, which is a good attitude if you are conscious of your actions and their effects on others, but my husband is no longer religious and blames all of his own shortcomings on the fact that he was raised in a southern baptist church! He does nothing to better himself- poor hygene, no tact, alcoholic, self-absorbed, over weight, smokes AND dips, uses every racial slur you can imagine and claims it is a joke... Whenever I voice a concern he gives me the silent treatment like a baby, and he loves fighting and debate. I do not. I have had healthy, equal relationships in the past. This is neither. What to do???

Before you say, your family, your children, your future and ambitions..all of that will be gone in 100 years, no one will remember, it seems so pointless, as each day passes and time goes by, days wasted, days forgotten, what's the point??

My mum has been supportive towards me, but she's very immature, everytime she comes back from working (she works evenings/nights) she smashes and bangs things around, whilst i'm upstairs and shouts and verbally bashes me calling me selfish and blah blah blah, she only does this when she comes back from work, I'm sick of it...she's 37 and i'm 17...I really want to move out and I don't want to get that old and be so hateful, I hate thinking about her life and I don't want to end up like her, I just wanna enjoy my life, have fun and succeed then die happy and young. I'm sick of her!!!! Opinions??

My husband and I have been married for over a year now, we have known each other for 10 years. He is really into his work and is always working! ( he is in Realesate) He is always on his phone even when we go out to dinner. it drives me crazy!! Sometimes I think he cares more about his work than his family. I have met other guys before and developed friendships with them, but haven't cheated or anything. I feel like I can talk to these other people and not to him. I am afraid that I might cheat cause he is never there for me or anything. I am not sure what to do. I don't want to get a divorce or anything but I am not sure if I can deal with this any longer or that I might met someone else that I am happier with. What should I do?

We have been married for 3 years now and have 1 child together. We have not had sex more than once a month for the last 8 months. She says its due to a lack of libido that happens to most women after thier first child birth. I feel that she is cheating on me due to her being secretive with her calls and other things. How can I find out if she is in fact cheating on me? I have asked her already and she says no. What options and resources do I have. What are the best ways to find out...Thank You!

Since when is it exciting news when Jessica Alba, Halley Berry, Nicole Richie, Tom Brady and other celebs think getting pregnant (=or in Tom's case, impregnating someone) without getting married is a good thing? Since when has the institution of marriage been replaced by openly sleeping around, shacking up and bearing illegitimate children? It's shameful and unGodly, and anyone who's doing it and saying they believe in God and follow His guidelines is lying.

He has been lying to me about his addiction for over a year, and he goes to a group for this addiction, and has been lying to them as well. He had warnings from the ITpeople to stop, but didn't. I am heartbroken. Trust is gone, money is going to be a horrible problem, Christmas coming up... the kids....
What on earth do I do? Someone please help me.

I have been in a serious relationship for awhile now, infact engaged. However his family has not been very nice to me. He sometimes takes there side. I have been very nice to them and have done so much to make them like me.

Because of all the drama I am scared to marry him. I hate being around his family. They say you marry the family is that true? I am so confused I don't know what to do.

First I would like to say I would prefer the kids would be raised in a co-parenting or shared parenting custody agreement, as the kids would benefit most from this in my opinion. The kids are 5 years and 16 months old

But my friend's husband has hired a high-priced attorney to divorce her and go for full custody of the children. He wants custody on the basis of her heart/seizure condition she got after being in a massive car accident. In our state her husband's affair is not of any legal consequence and he told her his new wife will do a better job raising the children than she will. She is unable to keep a job right now because of her health.

My friend got the only attorney she could afford, but not a high powered one.

What advice do you have?

Can someone briefly explain why, even after commitment, women still tend to follow their intuition then to trust their mates? Or maybe i just have it wrong, if so, help me out?

I know that I wasn't the most Ideal man to trust a while back, my wife knew that, but that should have been behind us. So recently she's been watching me in case im doing anything odd. She takes not that 've been coming home much later then usual. When im going out to the mall, she wants either her to come along or our 3 yr daughter. Then she likes to brows our caller ID and my cellphone calls once a week.

Yeah, is you woman's intuition making it sound like i might be cheating or something? Try linking the clues a little harder and fit in the possibility that I'm putting a little effort for X-mas this year, can't tell though, its kind of a secret.

What do you think?

While separated from my husband, I found my old love while doing an internet search and we started talking via telephone. We in totally different states. He said he has always loved me and I know I've always love him, however, I found out that he got married a couple of weeks after we first started talking. Since I confronted him about it, he has not contacted me. Why not? I think I deserve an explanation, but he has not responded me. What should I do?

OK, married ladies, what did you do about your name when you got married? Almost everyone I know does the first option below and it got me wondering how that lines up with the rest of the world (or at least the YA community).

1. Did you drop your maiden name and take your husband's last name?
2. Did you drop your middle name, put your maiden name in the middle, and take your husband's last name? (For instance, Mary Ann Smith becoming Mary Smith Jones.)
3. Did you hyphenate?
4. Did you keep your own name?
5. Did you do something else? If so, what?

Last month I founded my own independent rap label. The name of the label is Super King Records. Anyway, to help with the promotion of my label, I legally changed my name to Cash Dawg-Money. I know it sounds unusual but I really think it will help me promote the label as my name before I changed it was Ralph Herbert McToolmeister. My 16 year old son is going to the the star rapper for my label and I want him to change his name to either Murder McGunns or Hercules J. Bust-a-Cap. He doesn't really want to but I was going to make him change it since it will help his career and propel him into an international rap star hopefully. You see, the name me and my wife gave him, Alvin Q. McToolmeister, just isn't "gangsta" enough. Anyway, my wife said if I make my son change his name, she will leave me since she really didn't want me to change my name but she let me just to keep me happy, but she is drawing the line with my son! What should I do. How could my wife betray me like this? Please help!

My husband is in the Army and is possibly deploying sometime (we don't know when). I really want to get him a really nice pocket watch that is durable and good looking. I want to engrave a special note on it and be able to put my picture in it also so he can carry it wherever he is at in the middle east. Where can I get something like this? And do you think it is too corny??

Is it normal to feel hurt when your ex-husband re-marries? I was fine when he was dating, then moved in with her, but when he married her, that's when I felt hurt.
