You are at the age where you are going to basically do somethings that you feel are right. Just being honest with you...You shouldn't go out with a 18 year old. What do you have to offer an 18 year old. That person can basically take care of themselves and you can't. Physically you may be on the same level but mentally and emotionally you may not be. If you even sleep with this person they will go to jail why would you even want to get someone in possible trouble not saying you would do this but just being real with you....You should stick with you own age or a year older and that's it.
Sorry if this wasn't what you were looking for but I'm a mom and if my son or daughter came home and asked the same question I would give the same answer just in a higher tone.
Good luck

I would have to say NO! More than likely, the 18 year old has different interest. And MOST of the time....they think more about sex. I know 3 years is not a huge difference, but at these ages, it really is!
You will have plenty of time to grow up - - - Stay young & innocent as long as you can!

The only reason an 18 year old would date a 15 year old is because they are gullible enough to believe that an 18 year old is actually interested in them and are easy to manipulate.
Don't do it.

I have some seroius reservations about any man 18 or older that finds it necessary to date a minor. usually because no other 18+ female will have anything to do with him so he looks for a younger female he can bamboozle. Hence you're appearence in the picture.
Grow up little girl. Stay away. lets see if you're smart enough to do so

Yes. And depending on your state's laws, you can even have a sexual relationship when you turn 16. In CA its a 3-year buffer, and in WA it's 5 years.

Yes of course it's not like he's that older than you. If he really likes you and doesn't pressure you into doing things than why not.
In Maryland the person has to be 5yrs older for it to be statutory rape. So what the heck.

Dating is fine, sex on the other hand, probably is not. I would carefully consider this guy. I was 16 dating someone who was 21, and it did not work out. Although he was older, I was mentally older, got smart and moved on. Hopefully this will work out better for you. =D

As long as they're not having sex, sure. If they want to, they need to wait until the younger person is 16.

With your parents' permission, yes. But if he gets in your pants, he goes to jail and has to suffer for it for the rest of his life. So keep it kewl, kiddo!

You can date him but if you have sex with him and tell people about it and they report it then he can get in trouble. Legally, you're not liable to have consensual sex with someone who is a legal adult (it would be considered statutory rape).. and at 18 he's legal.
